What “violence”? I didn’t see any “violence”. I saw the riot police walking through the park urging immigrants (legal or otherwise) to move along. Those that didn’t cooperate were given a little added encouragement. But I didn’t see any “violence”.

Spot on, the 2 who needed protection were in Chicago. Good point on the 12 million, I have always felt the real number would be closer to 25 million. I like GWB, and he really gets it on the Islamists. But does someone really get it on Homeland Security, when they are that weak on the enforcement of our border/immigration laws?

We use to have rallies at the Federal Building at Westwood and Wilshire on July 4 every year and often the Mexicans would throw frozen soda pop cans at us from the other side of the street. The LAPD was great - the cops were always so nice to us and when purchasing a 25 cent hot dog many would give a 1 dollar or 5 dollar bill and tell us to keep the change. They knew their money was going to a good cause.

I've read some accounts and seen photos of some of those rallies and what the illegal alien thugs did to you guys. In fact, the rallies that you held and the resulting violence against you - Americans - by the illegal aliens is what first woke me up to the problems caused by the illegal aliens. In my case, your mission was accomplished. You woke me up and forced me to educate myself on the issue. Thank you.

Demonstrator throws projectile at LAPD Rampart Division Officer’s testicles, hitting one. Officer off one full month with a badly balooned testicle. One year later one each assigned testical may be on its way to being removed.

More flying projectiles being thrown at LAPD Rampart Division Officers.

Word is that there was a group of “black blocked” protestors who sought to provoke the police. LAPD gave the order to disperse, and responded to some thrown objects with the ARWEN and some CS which took the sand out of the thugs pretty fast.
So, speculation here, this protest was a mixed group of some ordinary people and the usual troublemakerand that the ANSWER/WCW/WWP goons were at the bottom of the trouble.
