Now Norwegian goat cheese (gjetost) is another matter. I have grown to love that and can buy it at Hannaford’s stores in Utica and Clinton, NY. Slice it thin and it’s lovely. I don’t like it thick sliced like you would cheddar. My boys used to call it peanut butter cheese. I don’t think they ever developed a taste for it, but I love it. It’s a brown color and comes in a red package. It’s a bit expensive but worth it to me.

Incredible, indeed! Not what I'd care to try. But they do come in the backyard.

I love to read those scam letters. The authors try so hard to appear legitimate but their word choice and context can be hilarious.

Investigate the Volvos before you buy a new one.

I have heard from two different mechanics, and from my boss who grew up in the car business, that Volvos have taken a decided turn for the worse since 2000.

We had a 1982 DL wagon that served us well when the kids were little, and my daughter right now has a '98 850 Turbo wagon which is a great car (except for that little problem with trying to get it to pass emissions after the battery was disconnected for some engine work - don't even get me STARTED on that. We put almost 900 miles on the car trying to get the computer to reset so the emissions computer could read the data -- we had 2 sets of mechanics praying over it and we ran the Volvo shop manual drive-in procedure (8 pages of closely printed text) 3 times before it finally reset. Never again.)

Obviously English as a Second Language.

I'm sure I commit similar howlers in German, but then again I'm not trying to scam anybody.

LOL, thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I’ve heard that moose cheese can help cure complications resulting from nasty moose bites. My sister will be so happy to hear the news!

“Just jokin’ WC. I know of some ranchers who domestically raise deer, elk, and bison.”

- I know you are, it’s Friday evening even in America, all right.

In return, I hope you likewise don’t expect me to be overly serious as it’s well past midnight here in Scandinavia.

I’ve decided to drink at least 3 more beers. I’ve invited some friends over to an ‘Italian dinner’ tomorrow. If I’m still asleep when they arrive, they can cook the meal for themselves and send me the pics.

clearly time for bed...either I am too tired, or too giggly...but I had to read your post three times. I was convinced that instead of complications, that said constipations.

And the hubby has come by, to figure out what is so funny on my computer to literally make me laugh out loud.

I used to be able to buy from Trader Joe’s Water Buffalo Yogurt. It’s much thicker than regular yogurt, almost like ricotta. I really liked it but I think they discontinued it.

Sounds good. I eat Activia almost every morning for digestive problems. I think it does help and it’s very tasty. Water Buffalo Yogurt doesn’t exactly SOUND delicious, though, does it?

I finished my first cup thinking I wasn’t fond of it. But then, the next day, I really wanted some - it developed into a craving. I really like it, but I don’t think everyone would.

But like it said, it tastes more like ricotta than yogurt. It’s totally solid, not mushy like yogurt. It’s got like double the fat of cow’s milk and more sugar, but also much higher in protein.

So what do moose steaks taste like? I ate a steak from a bear shot in the Rocky Mountains. Those are big too. Good meat with a hint of nuts and berries.

I hope you know the danger of domesticating wild animals. They will get used to walking around the street like they own the place. Just like cats.

A very good looking dog, a tan California coyote passed me by every morning where I worked on a high hill. Our only interaction was being a few feet apart sometimes. If I pet it or fed it food, I would be in jail.

“Investigate the Volvos before you buy a new one.”

- Investigate EVERYTHING you spend a lot of money on before doing so.

Today, I own an old Volvo V70 from 2001.

My neighbors snort at me, but I still think it’s one h*ll of a car (200 hp, lots of equipment).

Next week, I will try and sell it and then I’ll buy a newer car.

It will be a Volvo, but with more hp’s.

Asian cars?

I am fascinated by Japanese and Korean culture, but I’m not fascinated by the cars they make.

Vikings developed superior forging, shipbuilding and employed methods of ‘blitz’ warfare 1150 years earlier than the ridiculous Nazis.

If I ever get involved in a severe car crash, I don’t want to be seated in a Toyota at that moment.
