Oh, man, no thumbs? What’s gonna separate you from the animals now?

We'll probably need to use the crowbar again....

Actually, I hope they don’t ban you so you can read this. KMA. You can support the abortion supporting, liberal loving, cross dressing, homosexual marriage supporting RINO if you desire. I don’t, won’t, and support FR and it’s conservatism. You can rant and make up headlines all you want too. You sound like a red hiding behind the green.

I might Imus-out for this but; did you notice that the Dems are running a black white woman and a white black man?

And of course there's Edwards who is very confused about everything else.

Anyone who doesn’t support Rudy Giuliani is a backstabber to the conservative movement? Can someone explain this to me?

I haven’t read the rest of the thread but the term “Swift Boating” has one meaning in the leftist media and another in reality. The Swift Boat Vets laboriously tried to cite the specifics, the facts and their exact knowledge. To the media pointing out that Kerry did everything but shoot at our soldiers himself during the Vietnam war was nasty and impolite — to the rest of us it was simply sensible.

I showed some support for Rudy awhile back and the only response I got was a rude Email from someone named Plains Drifter. He chose to insult me via mail than in public.

Not directly but consider this; the colder the winter is the worse Global Warming is.

a candidate that does not even come close to any conservative principles?

That may be true, but none of the other candidates even come close to having the numbers needed to win the Presidency in '08. I don't think people are supporting Rudy because they are liberal, they are supporting him because they feel they don't have much choice. Some Republican contenders are polling in single digits. Unless we come up with a dynamic, electable conservative, it's not looking good for us.

Once people start caring about the election, which is still long away, Duncan Hunter is going to SHOOT up in the polls. When normal people who only pay attention to politics at election time see his record, he will gain record support. When they see those perverted pictures of Rudy wearing women’s clothes, his campaign will DIE.

Sorry, but Rudy does not have the conservative credentials to enjoy support from sound conservatives. We certainly don’t need the the la-la-land Daily Kos to set or approve our standards.

The only backstabbers I see are the ones willing to sell out 80% of the conservative ideology to back a FLAMING LIBERAL like Rudolph Ghouliani. Not only is that a betrayal of conservatism -- especially social conservatives, gun owners and those opposed to illegal immigration -- it is incredible to STUPID to believe that nominating an liberal like Ghouliani will in any way advance conservatism.

So your logic is “you expect conservatives to vote for Rudy Toot if he is the only choice between a Pubbie and a Dem but you don’t think conservatives will vote for a conservative candidate if he’s the only choice between a Pubbie and a Dem?”

RUDY IS NOT A CONSERVATIVE!

One has to be willingly blind or brain dead not to understand that.

A Ghouliani Presidency turn the GOP in a Democratic-lite party and eliminate a conservative agenda in both parties for a minimum of eight years. It would also result in the Republican party becoming a shrinking minority in Congress with many Southern conservatives realigning with blue dog Democratic candidates.

“if that quote of yours about setting up an organization to ‘Swiftboat Rudy’ is accurate as quoted in their article, the only thing I have to say to you is that you ought to be ashamed of yourself, as you have now become the back-stabber of the conservative cause.”

And Rudy has exactly WHAT to do with the conservative movement?

I agree with aShepard. If we conservatives want to make a difference we have two realistic options: Vote for the Republican candidate or not vote at all and let the DemonRats win elections.

Rudy may not be a conservative, but he is conservative enough for me to vote for him if he’s the Republican nominee: war on terror, cutting taxes, appointing original-intent judges, and moving contentitious social issues away from spurious consititutional “rights” to legislative processes at the state level. Plus the guy has true leadership grit. If it comes to a showdown between Rudy and Hillary, I am not willing to turn the country over to the Hildebeast by not voting for Rudy.

I love FR and hope Al Simmons doesn’t get banned. As someone said, “The Left looks for heretics, and the Right looks for converts.” Plus the Right has far and away the best sense of humor, particularly on dispaly here at FR (with a special thanks to all the hilariously terrific photoshoppers!)
