limited government intervention in personal choices
A core Republican principle as outlined in the party platform is the right to life.

Those who continue trying to push this socialist butcher off onto the rest of us are going to feel a whole LOT of pushing back. This I promise.
Ooooohhhhh. Sounds like someone's getting a message.
And those who cant bear the truth about Giuliani and cant understand why conservatives outright reject such a repulsive liberal, should get out of the kitchen now, because weve barely begun to fight.
It looks like the heats gonna get cranked up a bit...yikes! ;^)

“You have an interesting, albeit warped sense of logic.
But if it makes you feel good about yourself, Lukey, go for it.”
I spoke to you in peace. You returned with insults. This is what we have been putting up with from you people. I’m not going to do it anymore.
You want to call names, call them. But you will get them back, I assure you. So let’s start with you. You are nothing but a whining, smarmy, two sentence writing liberal cretin, claiming to be afraid to post here because people are mean. You aren’t exactly the most eloquent individual here, yourself.
Now give me some more names Liberal, because that’s the level of discourse we have to allow for with people like you. Bring it on.

As for fiscal vs social conservatives, I wouldnt consider a person conservative unless he was both. I dont think you can pick and choose from a laundry list of positions and have a conservative position on some and a liberal position on others and still call yourself a conservative. One who believes in big government spending, high taxes, entitlements and government handouts is a liberal plain and simple even if he doesnt believe in abortion or gay rights, etc.Sounds like a COMPASSIONATE Conservative to me. Who do we all know who adamantly claims a belief in 'compassionate conservatism' -- that old 'reach-across-the-aisle-even-if-it's-Ted-Kennedy's-big-fat-socialist-hand' method of governing? (except for the high taxes part, that is)

In other words, you’re a coward. The most courage you can muster can only be called Kerrage. If you had any real courage, you’d tell Jim Robinson to his face, instead of filtering your insults through other freepers, and calling him names on anti-freeper websites.

I apologize if I seemed to lump all Christians into the phony caricature. Actually, it is my desire to immunize, to protect the Christians who hold Jesus in their heart.

My son is in the military. He is an Iraq war vet, and will be redeployed in 2008.
Hillary hates the military, and his very life will be at stake, as well as his future should she get into power.
There is a lot at stake here, and every principled conservative who loves this country had better be in deep thought and prayer about the upcoming primaries as well as the general election.
The attacks on people who have made choices other than what we ourselves have made, or would make, have been inexcusable.
Any pretense that conservatives were thoughtful, decent people is well out the window and smashing on the sidewalk right now.

A core Republican principle as outlined in the party platform is the right to life.True. So why hasn't the Republican Party (the same clowns who send me fundraising letters in envelopes that look like those the IRS uses) told Rudy, "Thanks, but no thanks."? Would they allow Hillary Clinton to run as a Republican?

Im just baffled why anyone else would stubbornly permit a democrat to win the White House in these times. For one thing...Republicans are much more likely to oppose the policies of a liberal democrat President then they would be to oppose a liberal Republican President...In that context Rudy, who has many of the same liberal ideas and beliefs that Clinton has, would be a greater danger to the Republic then Clinton.

It’s an error that is easily rectified.
And you did so.
Thanks.
“Actually, it is my desire to immunize, to protect the Christians who hold Jesus in their heart.”
Noble, but not necessary for a true Christian.
