Looks like today's Supreme Court ruling upholding the ban on partial birth abortion puts the lie to several RINO/moderate notions.
First, abortion is NOT a constitutional right. Second, a pro-life president can and does make a difference. Third, a ban on abortion can pass SCOTUS/Constitutional muster. Fourth, America is ready for a ban on all abortions. Fifth, traditional American conservatism CAN and DOES win.
Thank God for the pro-life President Bush and the Republican congress that enacted this ban and for the conservative court that upheld it!
The pro-abortion Rudy Giuliani must never ever be allowed to destroy the pro-life movement within the Republican party.
God Bless President Bush and Traditional American Conservatism!
Keep the faith!
Fourth, America is ready for a ban on all abortions.”
Wow. I wouldn’t have necessarily thought that after today’s ruling. Some might call that a leap.
Retread abortionist troll socrates_shoe aka excineribus, spuriusferox, voltaires_zit, et al zotted.
Rudy has said time and again that he believes that abortion is a woman's Constitutional right.
Agreed that rvw will be overturned. I think only a few states will enact bans. It will almost be a blue state red state thing.
That said, longterm, obviously science, morality and everything else is on our side. There will always be holdouts like MA and CA, but, within the next 40 years many of the red states of today will be abortion free.
Just curious Jim.
Where has Rudy said he believes a woman has a “Constitutional Right” to an abortion?
My question is for you also.
You gotta be kidding me. Are you such a rabid Rudybot that you ignore what he says every damn day?

MAYOR RUDY GIULIANI: I have to reexamine those issues, and exactly what was at stake then, it was a long time ago, but generally that’s my view. Abortion is wrong, abortion shouldn’t happen, personally you should counsel people to that extent. When I was mayor, adoptions went up, abortions went down, but ultimately it’s a constitutional right and therefore if it’s a constitutional right, ultimately, even if you do it state by state basis, you have to make sure people are protected.
Thanks for answering my question in a nice way. I had tried to search to see if he used those words. Much appreciated.
No problem. Quotes are all that is needed, and news does fly pretty fast nowadays.

Good enough for you, or do I need to find more?
He also says that it should be tax payer funded.
He said we'd be denying poor women of their constitutional right if there wasn't taxpayer funding for them to get an abortion if they could not afford one.
Even SCOTUS hasn't gone that far.
Head FReeper BUMP!
Thank you Jim! Great news today!
Boy, you and Mia T have really sunk in credibility here. You guys used to rock with your creative artwork and such.
...and tax cuts.
You know what? It really is possible to discuss politics and news without slamming someone personally or categorizing them into goods and bads. The ending comment of your statement should have prompted you to offer respect. Something that is greatly needed at FR.
