you’re right. IF Cho was influenced by Jihad, the government will keep a lid on it as long as possible because declaring it immediately would imply that America has been attacked once again and has now become a region of urban WARFARE.
It took a week before the media actually said the Utah mall killer was muslim.
Thanks. Yes, that’s certainly a possibility. In that case, is there any evidence that he knew about Ismail Ak? I hope they eventually publish the suicide note and any other relevant evidence that might help resolve these questions.
That IS odd...considering that islam isn’t even a religion.
PS. I’m a great fan of “Moby Dick,” but I don’t think that “Call me Ishmael” or “I alone have survived to tell thee” are relevant to this case.
Ishmael in Moby Dick is not the violent one, Ahab is.
I just asked the Imam, and got an error message:
“Cannot connect: Too many connections”
I guess everyone else is asking about this.
An early thread mentioned this as a figure from American lit, which would make some sense. In those days personal names from Bible text were not uncommon.
My thoughts exactly.
Your right, they should bury it like Oklahoma and FL 800. America couldn’t handle the truth, just ask clinton.

I posted this point on another thread first!
Story of Ibrahim, Ismail, and the ax here:

LOL! Go ahead. I'll buy you a beer. :-)
I look at that guy’s eyes and am waiting for the Satanic angle to come out. He may be in an agitational depression to some, or be a psychotic or sociopath to others but I see pure evil in those eyes...hellish evil.

See #26. I’m getting the same reply.
It does? OK. Whatever.
The large red caps screamer has me convinced, for sure.
Backing away slowly. . .
“It took a week before the media actually said the Utah mall killer was muslim.”
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
And here in Salt Lake City, the MSM is STILL asking the rhetorical “Why did he do it?”
Useful idiots!
Maybe the Imam’s at prayer.
Or at the local strip joint.
Try again later.

Yes. The story of Ibrahim and Ismail is familiar, Mohammed’s twisted version of the story in Genesis, which is apparently based on his acceptance of the Jewish tradition that the Arabs are descendants of Ishmael the outcast and wanderer. Mohammed took the story and retold it to put Ismael in the role of chosen son.
But I was struck by some of the other connections in the source I posted, including such elements as Jihad and the need to fight against “prostitution” as well as idolatry.
A disturbed loner transfixed in games of violence... It fits.
I know this, of course.
But as I was reading what you wrote, I wondered: What is the rest of the story?
Do the Islamic Swine think that Hagar was Ishmael's mother, or do they think Sarah was his mother? Or do they reverse the stories of these women? Or not pay any attention to the women at all? I'm asking, and too lazy to go look for myself right now.
