Blessed Father, Comforter of All, please receive in Peace and Glory your Child Kay. Support her loving family in their grief & Help them to continue living with the generosity of Spirit she exhibited...in her memory.
Lovely tribute, Billie. Thanks for the repost.
Prayers offered for Kayak, her family, and all her friends here on FR. May the Lord watch over them and help them through this difficult time.
Kay, we love you and we will remember you. When you let go and slip to the other side, there will be many good people waiting to embrace you. Beloved friends, family, fellow freepers and most of all Our Lord. You will enter a world where things really are as they ought to be, where fairness is the rule, where love is unending, where justice was born. We will not forget you, but please, in all that glory, please do not forget us.
Goodbye my friend, until we meet on the other side.
Prayers for kayak and her loving family. May God bless you with courage and serenity.
Jemian:
I pray for your and your family as you prepare for the passing of your mother back go her Heavenly Father.
I lost my mother a year and a half ago and watched her slip into a non-responsive coma. Count myself most fortunate to have had a great deal of time with her before she became comatose.
She related that she was very excited about going to be with Jesus Christ, and also to be with her mother who had predeceased her, as well as both her brothers.
In my work as a hospice intern a few years ago, I was always amazed — absolutely amazed — at the powerfulness of being with people as they walked across that great divide and went to heaven.
I pray for your peace as you gather strength for this next stage in your mother’s life. And for yours as well. Losing a mom is one of the hardest things we ever have to go through and I pray especially for you.
How fortunate your father is to have you near him. And how absolutely blessed your mother is to have you near. We know that even comatose patients seem to be aware — somehow — of those who are near them and they can hear.
I pray for God’s richest blessings to you, your mother and all who loving grieve at this time.
Blessings,
Jane
Kay, our prayers are with you and your family. You and your husband were so much fun to hang out with. You will be missed.
“Two Eskimos sitting in a kayak were chilly, so they lit a fire in the craft. Unsurprisingly it sank, proving once again that you cant have your kayak and heat it too.”
We both got a good chuckle from this. Every time I see her name I think of the Eskimos. God bless her and her family.
Now THAT sounds like Kay...!!!
Morning prayers continue, poppy...
Prayers sent.
Sorry for your loss, Iris7, but happy for your mother...that she made peace with her maker.
Prayers for all of you.
Your mom would love to have this told to her, I believe... A small battle won:

Whew. My heart hurt just reading all of that. You won’t be sorry for your prayer for her to leave sooner than later. You don’t want her to suffer and...you have all those wonderful, loving memories to carry you through and beyond. God bless you all.
