I did a quick google search and came up with this....Blacksburg robbery foiled, suspects arrested from 2005.

Is this the same guy? K-9 unit led police to an apartment building and a field where they found 23-year-old William Charles Morva and 21-year-old Jeffrey Scott Roberts. Each is charged with attempted armed robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
