Harmless? He seems like a nut with an unhealthy obession for firearms. At the very least he should be investigated.
Legally owned firearms. My experience is that gun enthuasists are really responsible and law abiding citizens, and the first ones you want in a fire fight.
If he is the Chinese student, they are going to have a hard time making their gun control stick. He broke the law by having those guns.
Pray for W and Va Tech
Maybe a long way from the southern border as well, the drug smugglers, gangs and so on.
I’ve said time and again Phelp folks will do this at the wrong funeral and pay for it, and I’ve been wrong so far.
Israeli killed in Virginia massacre identified as Prof. Liviu Librescu
If something bad were to happen to the Westboro clan, not that I would condone such a terrible thing, it might not cause a loss of peaceful sleep.
So we know the guy was 24 years old and his name probably is not the traditional Chinese name, just my guess. Rather telling he messed up his face in killing himself.
A dollar to whoever can figure out where this leads.
Media loves doing that for the drama. When my dad was killed the local media wanted to interview me. i finally decided on a press conference to get it over with. I told myself that I would not give these people the satisfaction of seeing me cry. Of course the media spun it to say I was "unusually controlled" with my emotions.
No worries. =)
At least you didn’t spill the beans that Jack is *&$%^) and the President went

A dark day indeed. I was set to celebrate a friend’s birthday and it doesn’t seem so happy now...
And all this time I thought it was a muzzle-loader.
Heard one student nearby interviewed this afternoon talking about how it definitely wasn't automatic fire.
First local media that contacted me in a similar situation would have received a 5-minute stream of the vilest profanity in the history of the universe.
Dearest Lord,
Please bless your son, Ryan. Give him eternal peace and joy in your Kingdom. Please bless his family and all his friends. Give them comfort in their loss.
One of the dead is from Rochester, N.Y. She was a freshman.
Teen With Local Ties Killed in Virginia Tech Shooting
Last Update: Apr 17, 2007 12:20 AM
Blacksburg, VA. - The shooting spree in the Virginia Tech campus has claimed 33 lives, including that of the shooter. Among the dead, a freshman with family in the Rochester area.
Mary Read was in a French class when the gunman opened fire in a classroom building, just after nine this morning.
Read’s grandparents, Dave and Kate, are from Macedon. She has an Aunt Mary Courtney, in Palmyra. Also an Aunt and Uncle in Rochester, Karen and Ted Kuppinger. Ted is a Lieutenant in the Rochester Fire Department.
May he rest in peace.
One of the professors stayed behind to barricade the door while students jumped out the second storey window. I wonder if this was the man.
It’s very very sad to read the names and see the faces of the victims.
God be with their families tonight, and as they go through the awful days ahead.
I was just 21 and was really overwhelmed about everything that happened at the time. The irony is there were some reporters that actually got some good coverage because they didn't act pushy. One reporter was very polite and asked my husband if I was available. He said I was annoyed with people camping down our street (some would be in front of the wrong house. we would honk our horn and wave when we left). This particular reporter even rolled her eyes about her colleagues, gave my husband a business card if I felt up to an interview, and was very polite. She got her interview the next day. We had a great personal conversation, as well. Her articles were always human. Not just drama. If only more reporters had been like her. Through everything I went through, messing with the reporters was the amusing part.
