Some of the details of the Duke University rape case may never be solved, but one thing is startlingly clear: Crystal Gail Mangum, the woman who accused three college lacrosse players of locking her in a bathroom and raping her, has had a very troubled life.
Mangum has been identified by name publicly several times, including by lawyers during press conferences on the case.
According to North Carolina Department of Corrections records, she was born on July 18, 1978, to a truck driver. She grew up the youngest of three children, not far from the house where she claimed she was assaulted in 2006. Durham is a slow-paced Southern town with equally large populations of black and white residents and a history of racial tensions including those between a wealthy, predominantly white university community and its poorer black neighbors.

Hey you. Watch that.
I’ll report you to Al “Tawana Banana” Sharpeton, the REVEREND Al, or Jessie “Hymietown” Jackson for those remarks!!
“Some of the details of the Duke University rape case may never be solved, “
There is no case, there is nothing to solve.

Oh I agree! If she is not prosecuted for this, the extortion industry will get a real shot in the arm. Frankly, I would relish her prosecution exposing that faker, Jesse Jackasson.
totally f’ing nuts
The atheletes hired a stripper knowing she took off her clothes for money (duh). They didn't know anything else about this woman, nor could they have. When she arrived they almost immediately decided they wanted nothing to do with her and sent her away. What's your point?
What you have written here is utterly retarded and evil. After a year of unsubstantiated charges against these young men, on the day of their complete exoneration you make up some more. Is Jesse Jackson paying your tuition too? A false accusation is an "effective tool" only to an amoral wad of scum. If you are into saying evil things and hating on people for no good reason, perhaps you would find more friends over at DU.
My point? well, I’ll tell you similarly to the way I told my son when he was in college. ‘Your pecker connects you to whom ever you lend it to. You swim in sludge you get sludge on you. The gateway to your soul is yours to keep, but yours to corrupt also. You will be known by the company you keep, the ways you indulge itches and which desires you seek to sate.’ Clear enough for you?
[”Whom hired her knowing that she worked that industry?”]
The Duke Lacross Team hired her, as a stripper for a private team party. She was to entertain the boys by dancing and stripping.
If you think that this is wrong, then lobby your legislators to make it illegal. Right now, it’s quite legal.
But go ahead and blame the victims for the actions of a criminal. That’s a good way to advance justice. Just call all crimes the fault of the victims, and then we can empty the jails. Oh, wait. We’ll just have to fill them up again with the victims of the criminals.

"That's no 'exotic dancer!' I'll tell you what that is: That's a-- Hey! Ow!!! ... " |
You enjoy that drop from oveer the top? ... I have not blamed the vicitms, I have cautioned that smearing the stripper taints the payers, or it should. Pornography cheapens those selling it, making it, posing for it, and those buying it. The business this sick woman was involved with is demeaning to women and men. The boys were innocent of the charges trumped up against them. They were not choir boys however. Though there social backgrounds seem vastly above the stripper’s, their employing her shows there was less distance between them.
[”I have cautioned that smearing the stripper taints the payers, or it should.”]
Smearing the stripper? You mean by telling the unvarnished truth about her? She’s an evil person, who tried to gain financially by falsly accusing three college students of a vile and heinous crime.
Remember how she encouraged her strip-mate to put bruises on her, to reinforce her later accusations?
Remember how she said “there’s still money to be made in there?”
Remember her attempted assault on a police officer, after stealing a taxi, by trying to run him over?
This isn’t a “troubled” woman, this is a serial criminal, and a conscience-free, whoring perjuror, who tried to send three young men to the hell of prison for a good portion of their lives.
She is evil, and should be punished.
Making this about the college kids who hired a stripper for a party is just plain wrong.
Agreeing with what was posted by timydnuc is one thing, but you took it to an ENTIRELY different level and one that isn't supported by any accounts I've read. Only in your imagination.
Was there every any doubt?
Was there ever any doubt?
