WHERE ARE THE CALLS FOR SPEAKER PELOSI'S RESIGNATION?
Vanity | n/a | Bobbisox

Posted on 04/09/2007 6:42:40 PM PDT by Bobbisox

Has anyone out there heard of one Republican calling for the resignation and/or prosecution of Speaker Pelosi? Republicans are cowards! Even my own Senators have not answered my Emails or calls. What the hell is wrong with this Country? Why do we have laws if they only use them against Republicans? You and I cannot choose which laws to obey, or which taxes we will pay. Why are Democrats not subject to the laws of this land? Why are all the large metropolitan cities being allowed to call themselves sanctuary cities and not stop illegal’s? Why is the Justice Department not prosecuting Jefferson? Why is the Justice Department not prosecuting City leaders for not upholding Federal laws?

I am so disgusted with this Congress and our government, I am just about ready to go underground and never be politically active again, never vote again. I strive to be positive on a daily basis, but I am loosing the war within myself. Charlie Daniels is the only person I have heard that has called the situation like it is. Pelosi is a traitor, another Jane Fonda! However, she is a treated like a queen and is 3rd in line to the Presidency? God I hope Bush and Cheney are being protected well, because Pelosi will destroy what is left of our America.

“The calls for Damascus Nancy `s resignation are a waste of time. Ain`t going to happen. Unless the Rats wake up and realize she is one of the best things the Republicans have going. Let her lose, let her continue to make a fool out of her self. Besides, she is a lousy Speaker and hasn`t do a thing.”

Maybe not, but it would at least force her more on the defensive. We need to get the Dems off the offensive and more on the defensive, but our congressmen seem to have spines of jelly.

Calling a group of tatooed pituitary freaks “nappy hos” is apparently a far worse crime than violation of a Federal law that is two-centuries old.

This is when you are needed the most. Keep up the spirit! And keep up the faith! You are not alone! There are more of us than you think! We just have to get the Armchair Patriots out of their comfort zones and onto the phones and out in the streets!

Jefferson is not getting prosecuted because the FBI ruined the case with an unconstitutional raid. Pelosi is not subject to impeachment in the first place (nor are any members of Congress). The Logan Act is an artful use of words which has no impact except against a private citizen who might falsely pass himself off as an agent of the US government to funny little foreign people somewhere.

The place to beat smarmy Democrats is on election day.

Many of those crying out for some sort of Pelosi prosecution were telling us last Fall that the Republicans needed to be punished because they didn't cut the federal budget during a war and were running large deficits.

Back to the campaigns guys ~ unless "W" decides these people have to be tossed in dungeons for the duration you aren't going to find anyone wanting to prosecute the Speaker of the House.

Call your Representative and ask if they have the courage to make the charges. This is especially fun if the Rep is a Democrat. Point out that they jump at any missteip of the Republicans, and if they wish to show the fairness of the Democrat Party, then they need to press charges!

Pardon Pelosi! - Sunday, April 08, 2007 @ 8:08:34 AM

Robert F. Turner argues that Nancy Pelosi's trip to Syria may have violated the Logan Act. Rand Simberg has a brilliant idea:

It seems to me that if the Bush administration was clever, the president would magnanimously issue a preemptive pardon to Madam Speaker... It would make the point without the Justice Department having to do anything at all, and it would be hilarious to watch the donkeys scream about it.

"Has anyone out there heard of one Republican calling for the resignation and/or prosecution of Speaker Pelosi? "

Yes I have! My wife is a lifelong Republican and she told me just today that Pelosi should resign. I told her to not get her hopes up since it is unlikely that the MSM (our real rulers) would go along with the idea.

In order to get the Republicans out of their comfort zones, you have to get Armchair Patriots out of theirs.

Attack Pelosi???
Oh, horrors!

Don’t you know we’re Republicans, and we’re nice, and we want people to LIKE us?
We’re really really NICE people!

Thank you...this gives me a little hope. However, I want to see one call from either a Republican senator or Representative. I never considered how she would actually be helping our side in the long run. 2008 is a long time away. If our Republican Representatives do not start standing up for us, what are they good for?

I saw him on FoxNews Sunday...he did not call for her to resign. He only defended himself for his acts as Speaker.

"Calling a group of tatooed pituitary freaks “nappy hos”..."

Actually, Imus called them, accurately enough, I think, "Nappy-HEADED hos."

"Nappy ho" wouldn't mean anything at all.

The answer to the problems of this country and the traitors that infest government can be found by looking back to 1860/61.

This time the the South (or the red states) should win easily.

Why on earth would we want her to resign. She is, on a daily basis, building the case for the GOP to retake the House. You can’t make that stuff up.
