We need to pressure our Republican leaders to prosecute Ms. Polosi for violation of the Logan Act as per the WSJ article.
Yeah, Republicans would be prosecuted for meeting with our allies in time of conflict, while Democrats would be excused for meeting with our enemies.
I agree. We shouldn’t let the left wing media control our actions. Pelosi violated the laws of the United States, we should not let this slide. The rats try to prosecute Republicans for fictional crimes all of the time. But now the speaker of the house has committed a major crime and you think that she shouldn’t be prosecuted because it will make us look bad? I have news for you, the media will always try to make us look bad anyway, but that shouldn’t stop us from trying to do what is right.
You risk turning Pelosi from a fool into a victim. The American public's heart bleeds over and over (and over) for victims. If you turn her into a victim, she will take that club in the media and beat the crap out of us with it.
Be happy she's universally viewed as a fool. She'll recover from it eventually...all leftists do with the endless media help they get. But she'll recover really fast and turn this into a big loss for us if move her from fool status to victim status by trying to prosecute her.
Do you have any reason to even dream that the Blue Dogs might even be thinking about possibly ousting her?
It is much more effective to ridicule Pelosi (as the face of the Dem party) than to risk making her a media martyr.
We need to focus on what horrible judgment the Dems have so that the American people will vote with their eyes open in 2008.
In the 1990s, New Gingrich addressed the Israeli Knesset against the wishes of the Clinton Administration
Respectfully I disagree. We tend to think when democrats do something wrong, it's its own punishment. Pelosi needs to be charged.
Bush is sometimes very averse to taking on the domestic bad actors. I don't understand it at all.
We need to pressure our Republican leaders to prosecute Ms. Polosi for violation of the Logan Act as per the WSJ article.
If the actions of the speaker are a violation of the logan act, and the republican “leaders” do NOT move to prosecute, they are worthless and should be replaced.
...Continuing from above. Bush should, during this recess, appoint TWO DOZEN federal judges whose hearings might come before the senate. Just stick it to the rats.
“Dingbat Pelosi should be prosecuted.
That would put an end to this garbage, from either side, once and for all.
There is a law. Dingbat Pelosi violated it. If the law is to mean anything, it has to be enforced.”
Not only should Pelosi be prosecuted, but every Dem or Rep house or senate member who went without President Bush’s approval should be prosecuted.
Not necessarily.
Regardless, U.S. Speakers of the House have NO business trying to deal directly with foreign governments, friendly or hostile, whether it be Wright, Gingrich, or Pelosi. The Constitution plainly says that relations between the U.S. and foreign nations can only be accorded through the Executive Branch, and NOT the Legislative Branch, which only has the power to approve or disapprove treaties (through the Senate's advise and consent power).
I want the Dhimmis to reveal their true selves. I also want their wings clipped, because as long as they act with immunity and Republicans do not demand any type of equality, the Left will have the power and influence to cover up any of their gaffs. The Republicans won’t be taken seriously when they point out their abuses.
We need to be taken seriously.

We need to start putting pressure on congress. She has undermined our President, our allies, and our country. She needs to be prosecuted for violating the Logan Act.
Oh, absolutely. Let's make ourselves the bad guys and take all the heat off of her for her silly actions.
This is a classic time to employ the political rule: "When your opponent is destroying herself, shut up."
Does anyone know who was in her treasonous retenue besdes Lantos, and I think, Ellison? We should be aware.
Lets send her to prison, and make her to be the bad guy. The problem is too many always want to let them off the hook.
Not necessarily.
