I guess when the aircraft spends months at a time just sitting at the Travolta compound, things deteriorate.

Do we know if his 707 has had the engines modified to be more fuel efficient and less polluting?

I see he’s running the old jets on this bird too!

Isn’t he another Hollywood celeb that rips his mouth open about “global warming”?

He was said to be unhurt but shaken by the dramatic incident.

I wonder if Kelly Preston was shaken by the photos of him kissing another dude?

It wasn’t an emergency. He stopped for fuel and had a technical problem on the ground.

I wonder if this is the same plane he takes his boyfriends up for a, ahem... little spin.

Or does he use the Gulfstream for that.

Mr. Global Warming.

Great article. They seem to have left out that he was flying this alone. Alone! His Boeing 707 has three dining rooms and seats 179 people...I've read.

As a pilot, John Travolta did the right thing and did an outstanding job.

For those Freepers that have "Class Envy", you may be happier hanging out at the DU website.

For the rest of us, we consider someone enjoying the rewards of Capitalism, from hard work, as something to be enjoyed.

The 707 is a very old design.

And his being a 707-138B means that it is in the -100 series, very old, one of the earliest

Must not have bought enough carbon credits to offset all the fuel that his jet uses.
