Teachers are dropping controversial subjects such as the Holocaust and the Crusades from history lessons because they do not want to offend children from certain races or religions, a report claims.
A lack of factual knowledge among some teachers, particularly in primary schools, is also leading to âshallowâ lessons on emotive and difficult subjects, according to the study by the Historical Association.

I have my daughter in a daily argument with her freshman history teacher who praises islam and its growth in the West. The moron says all of this while the school is running drills to teach the kids how to hide when terrorist attack the school. He told my daughter that I’m a racist because I teach her about the violence of islam and its abusive treatment of women. She asked him to explain how a tolerant religion could send school girls to die in a burning building because their heads weren’t covered properly? She also asked him what happens to Christians,Jews and people of other faiths if they practice their religion out in the open. His answer:Not all moslums feel this way and most are peaceful and tolerant of all religion.

This is the beginning of the end for Jolly ol England. Like France they are changing to accommodate Islam instead of Islam assimilating into its host country. I have an Idea lets follow the new school format in one town in the state of Washington, come to school if you want, take a test if you want,no assignments, and if you don’t want to come to school at all, don’t! This way you don’t have to worry about offending ANYONE! THIS WORLD HAS A DESEASE,ITS CALLED THE LIBERAL LEFT! WAKE UP ENGLAND, WAKE UP FRANCE, WAKE UP AMERICA. "thier heeere"

“Cowards one and all.”
And idiots. Brainwashed college grads that don’t/can’t understand historical significance of religious movements. As an art museum docent, I once had a young teacher come up to me and ask if it was include a 16 c. portrait of Jesus in my tour. He was cowardly, yes, because he was afraid of offending but he also was only able to view this as propaganda.

Then let’s drop all the other lessons about injustices that were done all over the world. There, that should satisfy just about everyone.

>The story is from the UK and originated there it has nothing to do with American teachers it is just the wimpy teachers in the UK.<
We’ll be doing the same thing in a few years. Wanna bet? Compassion and capitulation is the trail we seem to be following.

Just send your kids to a Catholic school and save yourself a lot of trouble. My best friend in prep school was a Jewish guy named Aaron. He made it through just fine without too many bruises.
He did scare the pants off his mom when he brought home a list of Catholic churches in his neighborhood. When she found out I gave it to him as a joke she yelled at me pretty loud, but his Dad saw the humor in it and saved my neck.

My daughters are learning about the Holocaust now. The children have been given pictures of Jewish children who suffered in the Holocaust. The pictures are from before they were captured however, having fun, with family, etc. The kids in class have to find a picture of themselves in a similar pose to the children in the pictures.
Kind of a chilling assignment - there but for the grace of God go I.

Yes I agree when it comes to being overtly PC but fortunately our Constitution prohibits mixing church and state so I hope it will never get as bad as the UK and the rest of the world.

This strange and horrible self destructive phenomenon is happening in Eurabia too.
It’s about assumed self-guilt-—a moral guilt on the part of Liberals that is dealt with by subverting reality.

I just bought a second copy of Larry Schweikart's A PATRIOT'S HISTORY OF THE US for my home-schooled grandchildren. I recommend you all do the same for your children or grandchildren. They especially need it if they're attending the government's indoctrination camps.
