All that would happen is the MSM would paint Bush as a partisan witch hunter and the possible benefit would not justify giving them something else to distract the country with. Not sure if I agree with that assessment but.....

I couldn't agree more. The left screams hate continually against Reps with no fear. They know no one is going to cross them. It's a real mystery and I wonder if we will ever know the truth. Our people appear to be terrified of something.

I saw that, too, and the interview in NYC with an attache or ambassador from the Sudan who spoke of how Sudan had offered OBL to the US. I also read an article after 9-11-01 in which our man Ijaz spoke of briefing BOTH Hill an Bill on OBL IN THE WHITE HOUSE....and have not seen the article on the internet since 1 week after reading it.

According to Tony Snow .. the Barrett Report is full of bad stuff about MANY CONGRESS PEOPLE - and I would presume that means dems and repubs.

To get it released - a congress person only has to request a COPY of the report. Once they have the report - THERE IS NO LAW TO PREVENT THEM FROM REVEALING IT TO THE PUBLIC.

I suspect the word has gone out - whoever requests a copy will not live to see the next day. Nobody will touch it.

But .. according to Tony - the stuff is really, really bad!

Personally, I don't care who's involved in what - just expose the scum and get them out of office - NOW!! I'm so sick of this cover-up crap!!

I'm not sure why the Bush admin is helpless or unwilling to stand up and raise hell, but in my mind that's exactly what's wrong today. I expect more from my party's leader. He's let me down if he refuses to hold the left accountable. And for that I hold him responsible as much as I hold Dems responsible for their deceit and criminal activities.

I do agree that the Clintonistas are socialists. But it is a socialist-hybrid. They are not so deeply inculcated in this belief that they would sacrifice themselves and their careers, I do not believe. It is all about self to these guys. Burger would not have been faulted if the millineum bomber had been successful...Clinton would have. To be sure Burger would have received some temporary cricicism, but it would have been Clintons' baby.

The Republicans, in a vain attempt to be civilized, believe falsely that if they are nice to democrats, the democrats will be nice to them. This is a fatal flaw in their understanding of the democrat. The democrat takes no prisoners..witness Libby, Gonzales and this current dust-up, and all of the other tangential critizisms leveled at Bush..abu Grabe...even military hospital failures, long known to be substandard, have been labeled as Bush problems.

I believe Clinton loves Clinton more than he loves social programs. Same for Burger. But they might do many stupid things, thinking themselves invincible, because they got away with it for 8 years.
