In the summer of 2006, I heard that a new book called Godless presented an insightful and devastating criticism of the theory of evolution. Although I learned that its author, Ann Coulter, is not a scientist but a lawyer turned author and TV pundit, she nevertheless appeared to be an intelligent and well-educated person, so I started reading. At first I was puzzled. There did not seem to be anything new; only tired and outdated antievolution arguments involving moths, finches, and fruit flies. But it wasn't until Coulter dusted off the old Piltdown man story that I suddenly realized: it was a hoax! And it was brilliant...

EVOLUTION IS NOT A SCIENCE .. IT'S A THEORY!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
If you study the definitions of science and theory you might realize that the sentence above makes absolutely no sense. It would make no sense regardless of the subject, evolution or any other.

Can one imagine a God who would approve of such behavior?
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I cannot imagine such a God but the old testament God seemed to approve of a lot of behaviour that I cannot imagine approving. Nearly everything I do believe in flows from the Golden Rule but I do not believe everything taught in the average Baptist church, even though I was baptized into a Southern Baptist church at an early age.

I have been under the impression that the only animals now living whose brains are larger than that of humans are in the whale family. Elephants have larger brains than humans, though smaller in proportion.

I thought Ann's case against the religion of evolution was perhaps the strongest aspect of her book.Doesn't say much for the book then, does it.
Her screed against evolution was pure uneducated drivel.

Ichneumon struck a nerve I see. He was spot-on and here you are spinning in the wind yet again.
Sad.

...you have returned for more copy/paste-a-thons...If you think Ichneumon copies his posts from some other writer, you better be prepared to back it up. Otherwise you have committed libel. Even more interesting, you will burn in hell forever for lying.
Interestingly, you said nothing about post #331, which is, in fact plagiarism.

Methinks DarwinCentral has lost its luster. Or maybe just supporters; the site seems to be down. Nope, just had to upgrade to a dedicated server, the traffic was too much for the old one.
Third, you [Ichneumon] mercilessly spam Free Republic with copied-and-pasted material from websites,
There's no problem with C&P as long as the source is indicated. Can you produce any examples of where Ichneumon has posted someone else's work as though it were his own?

dating geological layers over most of the fossil record. C-man. how are they dating the geological layers? This is the uranium decay methods (possibly) I want to delve more into! Send me the link(s) I'm a glutton for long links
So I can check it out. This will help with the questions I have about the radioactive decay rates, argon leakage and lead/uranium initial quantity assumptions.
