CHARLESTON, W.Va West Virginia won the National Invitation Tournament title, but its commemorative T-shirts are less than championship material. They contain a misspelling.

WVU sports information director Shelly Poe blamed the NIT for printing the shirts.

I don't know what is more amazing, the fact that no one noticed or that the screen printer misspelled the state to begin with!

Watch for them to GO ON SALE as collectors items on Ebay for $500 each, no one at the Tee Shirt factory was fooled, just the academic basketball players that never knew how to read.

"At least it didn't say West Vagina."
It's phonics, as in: "Did you see that striper's Virgina"
(Ver-gina).

I grew up on the Maryland side of the Potomac River. Items like these are the reason why we ripped on West Virginians so bad. It's almost karmic. :-)

There must be a better picture somewhere than that one.
Still anyone who's named "Pittsnoggle" could hardly be embarassed by a misspelled tee.
