HA! Maybe Rudy is a lurker here...but, he sure took my CCW away (as he did thousands of others) when he was mayor.

Rudy doesn't give a damn about the constitution. Supporting him certainly is not a conservative position.

Its not really a flip flop though....he still thinks the 2nd amendment is about hunting and target shooting....

If he so callously screws over his wife and family for his own personal reasons, how can you trust him on anything else?

"He says he supports the right of individuals to bear arms, and that states and generally not the federal government should decide whether to put some limits on that right."
And this means nothing has changed in Rudy's world...look at these words, [states] [generally] [some limits] [on that right]
Now lets change the right from the 2nd Amendment to the First, Fifth or all.

This is getting so old.
We know the story with Rudy. He's anti-second amendment so people like me who care about that won't vote for him. Nothing is changing my mind.
At the same time, there are a bunch of people around here who think that beating Hillary is the only issue, and they are prepared to sacrifice on everything else to do it. They think Rudy is our only hope. Nothing is changing their mind.
Everyone else won't be making up their minds for another 18 months or so.
There... it's all said. Can we do something else today please?

Rudy has more skeletons in his closet than I could imagine. He hasn't and won't convince me that he's not a liberal.

No matter what he says now, what will President Rudy do when the first Columbine happens on his watch. Clamp down big time.

"and that states and generally not the federal government should decide whether to put some limits on that right." Either this is his loop-hole, or he still doesn't get it. Or both.

Rudy is just your typical "say anything to appease and get elected" type of guy. If a president will not stand behind the U.S. Constitution without trying to conform it to his personal ideology, I have no use for him.

This is a key phrase here. It not only defines his stance on the second amendment, but also on Roe v. Wade.
I think all of this publicity, both positive and negative, is doing Rudy good.
Good news, like poll results, reinforce his image among those who are sitting on the fence about him.
The bad news, the skeletons, the distasteful stuff, are being gotten out of the way now. It will be old news by the time the primaries roll around. I'm for dredging it all up - and the sooner the better. Let's find out now for whom we are voting - or for whom we are NOT voting - in the primaries.
To: Pharmboy
He's not getting my vote, that's for sure.

I do not for one second believe RINO Rudy has had an epiphany regarding the second amendment. In no way will I ever cast a vote for him.
