Rudolph was in the southern part of the state. This is far north. Rudolph mostly ate stolen grains and restaurant dumpster food. That's how he got caught. Hehad a Taco Bell jones.
I'm reading Lone Wolf now. He was a mixed up guy.

I missed hearing how he came up missing. Was he with a troop? How did he get separated?

While this is great news, it does beg a question.
How do you get to be a 12 year old scout and not understand the buddy system? This is taught from the very 1st day in scouting. You don't go to the latrine without a buddy...even if you have to wake them up!

Good news. I was wondering if HE found the rescuers --- or if the rescuers found him.

So maybe people will stop bashing the Boy Scouts as an organization that is not good for boys now?
Maybe cities will rethink kicking the Boy Scouts out of public facilities for their meetings now?
Naaahh...

I'd be reluctant to call a twelve-year-old a "little child".

So now that he is found ...
I can say this ...
No Orientation Merit Badge for you Mr. Auberry,
No Orientation Merit badge for you....

I thought this was interesting:
"Before reports surfaced that Michael had been found, the boy' father, Kent Auberry, said he was concerned, but not overly worried that his son, who's been diagnosed with attention deficit disorder, does not have his medication with him."

Per one report, he was a heavy, late sleeper. Other had left to do stuff for the day. Scout Master stayed in camp. Boy later woke up and then wondered off.

ADHD. They tend to live in their own world. Medication doesn't help especially if they come offit on the weekends.

It was actually three. And very cold nights. I was afraid that if the weather didn't get him, a mountain lion would.

"Rudolph was in the southern part of the state." Are you sure he was there the whole time? Seems to me there was a long period of time when nobody was quite certain where he was...;-)
To: Apple Blossom
Excuse me, but do you know any 12 year old boys?

He stayed in a very small area. Much of his time was spent watching the National Guard building where the searchers dispersed every day.
