over here
They aren't starting until NOON! I guess they all had to sleep in today. Wouldn't want to put them out any.
Man, I would LOVE to be there!!!! Too far away and too little money...
There are THOUSANDS of Patriots there! I couldn't make it up to DC so I put in a call to her on her cell phone. She said it's a muddy mess but they've got a stage and quite a number of speakers addressing the crowd. Good sound system too...I could here part of a speech of a mother talking about her son who considered it an honor to serve in the 101st Airborne in Iraq.
Anglewood also reported that ABC, CNN, FOX are there and there was a helicopter circling overhead. Unknown if it was media or NPS on patrol.
MARINE ONE also flew overhead at one point!
The memorials WERE PROTECTED! The Vietnam Wall has been guarded for three days by GOE and the NPS has a metal detector set up at the entrance to the Wall. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!
There are thousands of American Flags set up on the National Mall and I imagine it's quite a sight.
I talked to her at 12:30PM and they said the stage presentation was wrapping up and they were going to disperse to their permitted areas along the Commie death march route. The wind is howling and she didn't know if they'd be able to deploy their larger banners.
I'll report more as I recieve information from onsite.
EAGLES AND FREEPERS UP!
I heard the March started
at 12:30pm EDT..that was about
16 minutes ago..heard the crowd
is log jammed at a bridge.
Here's another Live blog....

Quint and I are praying for safety for all the patriots who are gathered in D.C. so that the zealous who have let their message of hatred interfere with the right for all the patriots to express themselves. We also pray for warmth in what has turned out to be a horrific winter storm. We hope that all of you gathered out there will feel the warmth of our embrace as we pray for each one of you.
"heard the crowd is log jammed at a bridge."
Is that a gay reference?
They aren't even smart enough to figure out how to march and not get jammed up?! Pathetic
Angelwood is an angel.... and so are you...:^)
LOL! Take it however you want to..No
doubt there are a number of fudge
pakers in that anti-war crowd.
:o)
Me too, it's a 12 hour drive for me to get to DC and I don't have the time off to do it. Money wise, well I could have stayed @ my sisters house, but it's the time. Now if I win the Powerball tonight.....
Bwahahahaha.....
Now tell us what you really think.
:-)
bump
I have been praying through the night and the morning, for strength, numbers and protection for our patriots/veterans/troops on the scene in Washington, D.C.
May God continue to bless them all.
Looks like a good turnout. Considering that has to be the guard detail at the Lincoln Memorial. I notice from maps at the GOE site, they had a section of the sidewalk *on the Memorial side* of the "parade" route of the Red Diaper Babies, aka ANSWER, I'd expect that is in the nature of a detachment, not the main body of the Good Guys.
Thank you for this thread.
Update on Fox right now.....
There are thousands of American Flags set up on the National Mall and I imagine it's quite a sight.
