Romney says government was wrong in Schiavo case

TAMPA -- He's campaigning hard for support from Republican social conservatives, but presidential candidate Mitt Romney said Saturday he disagreed with the government's intervention in the Terri Schiavo case.

"I think it's probably best to leave these kinds of matters in the hands of the courts," Romney said in a television interview airing today.

Romney and Bush are the poster boys for weak executives who are so brainwashed by the judicial supremacist myth that they will ignore their oath to uphold the constitution and let out-of-control judges destroy our most basic societal standards and even the very right to live of citizens.

I wish I has a dime for every time you wrote "judicial supremacist."

How about you give two examples of each man doing this in what you consider to be the WRONG way and enlighten us all as to the action they SHOULD have taken.

It's one of those unenumerated rights. The founders obviously thought nobody could be stupid enough to need it spelled out in the Constitution.

Let me clarify a bit more. It was a state's rights issue, not for the federales.

Forget the clarifications and explanations, my Freeper friend, the cat's out of the bag. All we can do now is hunker down and wait till the storm blows over.

Roe V Wade is a states rights issue. Keilo was a states rights, gun restrictions are states rights. Prayer IMHO does not need to be in the schools. Elian had every right to be weith his father, no matter how much I disagree and hate Castro.

No I believe in STATES RIGHTS!!!!!! AMENDMENT 10 OF THE US CONSTITUTION!!!!!! Even if Rove Vs Wade is overturn. Some states will have it and state won't have it...

It is beyond me to understand how this is a "smaller government" issue. Moral absolutes have to come first; allowing that woman's estranged husband to kill her for the money is certainly not small government, it's illegitimate government
