FYI..in basketball..to "dunk" is the ability to jump up and stuff the ball down into the hoop..
LOL. He sure does...fire fights in Iraq, hurricanes in Florida. You name it. Steve has been there. I am always shocked when I see him doing something tame.
Oh Yeah!
And I will be covering the Caravan here in Atlanta on Wednesday morning- and even helping to get some media attention to the event!!!!
;-)
I think you hit on the correct answer!
I am VERY excited for you, EC.
I am also very envious that you and Honest, Justa and Sensei get to participate in all of that wonderful "Gathering of Eagles" confab.
I am looking forward to all of ya'lls comments and sights and sounds.
If Brit did remember, he did not get a chance to comment, since it was at the end of the panel time, during responses to e-mails. Maybe Brit will have it on the 'Grapevine' tomorrow.
This is exactly why I keep saying to hold our fire and not get behind or in front of the candidates. This whole election campaign will be very different a year from now than today and it does not help us to jump to one candidate or another too soon.
As for Thompson, I like him too but I am content to wait and see what happens, just as he suggested. Fred Thompson knows this is too early and he's sitting back to see what happens. We Freepers need to do the same thing.
Notice too, how many potential nominees that were all put out here on FR are absent today?
thanks sleuthy!
I will be thinking of you and wishing you were there! no DOUBT!
dinasour is going to be there too!!!
I am so thrilled that I am actually going to get to meet so many TREMENDOUS PEOPLE!
I keep pinching myself!!
This is my shot across the bow, like old Dingy Harry Reid;
Scooter better NOT serve even one hour behind bars or I am history to the Republicans, or at least my money is, however minor it may be.
Words of wisdom as usual!
Well..it isn't just luck...you have worked hard to get where you are...and the chance to do all of this.
I am very impressed with you!
Fred has one "problem" that the demedia will love.
Deferrments during the Sixties ---

I stole it forget where....
Dinkins Time was not about the drop in crime, it was about the dreadful way the city was being run. The inmates were in charge. It was a terrifying time for those folks who worked there every day. Who had to use the subways, the streets after dark, etc.
