Brownback is the textbook example of what happens when the GOP decides that conservative means "pro-life, Socialist, free-spending, open-borders cut and runner" or, IOW...that as long as someone is pro-life - they're automatically an invulnerable, forever electable conservative. However, they've thrown common sense and fiscal and economic conservatism out the window.

Maybe they just want you to think that and it really IS their worst nightmare.

IMO, Thompson/Steele would be the winner. What are the moonbats gonna do, throw more Oreo cookies at Steele and depict him in minstrel makeup again? That she-yite may work in Maryland, but it will destroy them in a national election.

LOL! Not really but you guys are getting a bit desperate like the Liberals with Trying to get Al Gore to run. I wonder why? Are we copying the left?

I think McCain knows he's out. Honestly. I expect to see him drop out in the next 3-6 months. If he isn't the front runner right now, its not going to get any better for him and he knows that.

Reagan was married twice but there was no baggage.

Not like Rudy and his soap opera saga.

"Maybe they just want you to think that and it really IS their worst nightmare."

Exactly!

I made the same assessment in my post 70.
The Dems want to split the Republicans, and view Thomson as an ideal candidate to split them enough, so the Republicans end up with an unelectable candidate and Hillary will have a cake walk.

Rudy is the only one the Dems are REALLY afraid of, because he CAN beat Hillary.

If I don't like what the restraunt is serving and a liberal doesn't like what a restraunt is serving, clearly I'm copying. RME.

We have been copying the left for quite a while now. We just don't even realize it yet.

Democratic strategist Bob Beckel admitted, in an interview on Fox News, that Fred Thompson for president would be their worst nightmare.

If Beckel said this it probably means he personally has possession of pictures of Fred in bed with a sheep, a little boy and a dead hooker.

How do you know a Dhimmicart is lying?  His lips are moving.

That's not a joke, so far as I'm concerned.  Even when they think they're telling the truth you'll find out it's a lie if you dig far enough.

No, RUDY is copying the left. So, I want another candidate, who is able to beat Her Heinous, who is at least remotely conservative.

Bob Beckell is not that cunning.

Strike this up as a moment of lucidity.

I find it easier to believe that Beckel wants him to run rather than Beckel had a moment of lucidity.

They have something on him. And they will use it. But I think Thompson has a thick skin like Rudy. He can take it. I think he will be a good candidate IF he runs.

We have been copying the left for quite a while now

By supporting liberals? By spending too much? Yes we have been copying the liberals.
