We are also informed that her tomb and that of Jesus have been found in Jerusalem; that DNA testing has proved that they are not related and so must have been married (how exactly does it prove that?)...

In a surreal moment on 'Larry King Live' earlier this week, the film's producer, James Cameron, told us with a straight face that we should all be thankful that we now have tangible evidence that Jesus existed. Is this science? A bad joke? Or part of an intensifying battle against unchanging truths -- a despicable mockery of the God of the Bible and the significance of His death, burial and resurrection?

It may be that an ossuary was prepared. We know Jesus didn't need or use it. 20 or 30 years later well meaning people could have put the bones of any persecuted Christian there.

There have been thousands of ossuaries found in Jerusalem. Quite a few of them had the name Yeshua or Joshua, which happened to be the most popular name of the day. This is just selling Jesus for a profit--99% of Archaelogists have dismissed this idiotic theory out of hand.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I'd like to know if anyone else has noticed that for the last 4 or 5 years, JUST as the Lenten season starts, either Hollywood or the press comes out with some new attempt to cast doubt on the founding tenets of both or either of the Jewish and/or Christian faiths?

In a WIRED magazine that came out a few months ago, they had an article on the "NEW ATHEISM" movement. The intellectual fathers of this movement were all academic men who had decided that it was time for full out destruction of modern religions. They even went so far as to promote removing children from their parents in order to make sure they were not indoctrinated into religion. These gentlemen included the author of the "GOD DELUSION" book, and seemed to be in agreement that they had to make all people embarrassed to even mention God or a belief in God. This strategy is being carried out by their true followers in the MSM by attacking Christianity every Easter by stressing that Jesus was not who he claimed to be but just another man. As we know from prior events, the MSM is quite comfortable whacking Christianity vs. another religion like Islam, so Christianity will be the first religion to get the full treatment.

To summarize, this new atheism approach outlined by the academic elite, will be heavily promoted in our future by the media and entertainment types as part of their strategy to get rid of religion in general. I fully expect this type of nonsense to escalate much like the global warming propaganda.
