Thanks for posting this morning, Tom. I put the article on my alumni blog, mainly to pi$$ off the liberals. They didn't like it when I posted the earlier article about Global Investment Management.

I've come up with a new business idea:

There are companies that sell 'carbon-credits'. The 'carbon-credits' are created by planting trees. But that's an indirect and inefficient method. Let's face it, how long do you have to wait for a tree to get big enough to do any good?

I've come up with a faster method. You know what 's full of carbon dioxide? Beer. I'm going to drink beer. People will pay me for my carbon credits. And I'll save the planet.

I know, brilliant. Don't tell anyone until I get a chance to patent the idea.

PS: I talked to my son. Turns out his fraternity is very concerned about the environment. They've agreed to sponsor a weekend blowout PAR-TAY!!, ahhh, I mean an environmental retreat.

I'm looking for investors. I need about 75 dollars for the weekend; for beer, some bean dip, and some movie rentals on the topic of ahh, environmentalism. Yeah, environmentalism.

I'll take care of the chips. I'm pretty picky.

PPS: Who knew that the movie "Beerfest" could be the "Silent Spring"-like inspiration to a new millennium's ecowarrior?

You really need to connect up with the muslim world given that they aren't allowed to consume alcohol...of course a significant number are hypocrites...maybe you need to check with the cave dwelling muslims first.

OK, bloggers ... your next assignment is to find out how much of the money given to Generation Investment Management LLP is chewed up by salaries, commissions, and expense accounts, and how much Algore is paid in Directors Fees.

I hope this carbon credit BS continues to get air play and ridiculed. And I hope the eco-loonies keep bragging about it.

However, I imagine that once the MSM realizes how embarassingly stupid the subject makes their beloved favorites look, they will start ignoring it.

Rev. Al Gore declared that "climate change" was "the most important moral, ethical, spiritual and political issue humankind has ever faced."

Apparently two world wars, Stalin & Mao's genocide & 100 million dead are minor footnotes in the history books Al has read. Ditto for the Black Plague, the 1917 flu pandemic, the fall of the Roman empire & ensuing dark ages.

What a self centered egotistical bunch of hypocrites with Al as their messiah. This is a religion with these people. Pathetic if they weren't so dangerous.

Next thing you know, the liberals will be selling "murder offsets." Jack will murder Jill and buy a murder offset so that Jan will refrain from murdering Dan. Thus we have net zero murder.

That explains the checks I've been getting from Ted Kennedy.

BINGO! It's more of a cult than religion, but they're just as zealous...

Algore: the 21st Century's Green Elmer Gantry. The liberals like to deride Holly Rollers and the revivalist shtick associated with evangelism yet they follow a Green Evangelist in the person of Gore. For the upper classes and intellectuals, the worship of Mother Nature has effectively replaced Christianity as a prevailing belief. If you believe in nothing, you'll believe in any thing. Even in such riduiculous notions as the belief the earth's heating up is all your fault and you can give yourself the modern day equivalent of a medieval indulgence to go right on sinning. In the meantime, Saint Gore continues to consume prodigiously while warning all and sundry The World Will End if they don't reduce their consumption. Environmentalism is like being in a fun house full of mirrors: Saint Gore looks wide while the rest of the world is getting thinner. That's how warped the whole Global Warming Cult is - the liberal version of a future Jonestown in the making.

"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
