FreeRepublic Policy Statement
FrreRepublic ^ | Unknown | Jim Robinson

Posted on 03/03/2007 5:38:03 PM PST by ZULU

"Therefore, we wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security. We support our military, our troops and our Commander-in-Chief and we oppose turning control of our government back over to the liberals and socialists who favor appeasement, weakness, and subserviency. We do not believe in surrendering to the terrorists as France, Germany, Russia and Spain have done and as Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton and the Democrats, et al, are proposing.

As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty. "

No it is not "Rudy aka Ruby" bashing it is Giuliani is trying to tell us he is a Conservative when he is really a moderate liberal!

He would not be getting hammered if just be up front, he had no trouble in NYC being foright because he was swimming in friedly waters!

What always Puzzled me was WABC 77 TALK RADIO was always #1 in NYC as well as #1 across the Nation, but NYC always voted liberal?

Are these elections really fixed?

"How about you mind your own business?"

Your right. I would hate to be able to have a fair discussion on Presidential candidates. I guess I must not understand that we won't agree on everything here. I will let you get back to dream world. lol.

Just as soon as you own this site and get to make the rules, get back to me, OK? In the meantime, buzz off.

I really don't understand you thinking. Do you not understand that this is a discussion forum???? What did I say to the contrary of that. Are you a troll? Are you thirteen? Are you on drugs? I don't understand you one bit? Clearly you are not thinking clearly. I am truly frightened for you. I feel that you may need some help and I pray you get it soon before you do something to yourself. I am saying prayers for you at mass today for sure!!!!!

don't know what that is and don't act like you don't see the Rudy bashing on this website.

So what was your previous screenname?

I can understand how Thompson's vote might upset you. I'm sure that he has publicly explained the reason for his vote. Have you read/heard it? [I'd be interested in that myself.]

Rudy is an executive of extraordinary quality and ability. The President is first and formost an executive.

The minor subissues of the era are trumped by the necessity to survive. Rudy has a proven record of kicking ass and saving New York from a Democrat induced death spiral.

We have a Congress and the courts to fight the ongoing sub battles.

Hunter is a flyweight lacking the name recognition and executive track record necessary for the job.

He is unelectable as Presidential candidate

I think so too. Based on what I know so far, I could support Thompson with enthusiasm. Can't say the same for the rest of the field. [Hunter is the one among them that I know little about.]

Well then, since WE believe WE are correct, its OUR responsibility to convince them otherwise BEFORE the next priamry, no?

And quite a few of you "WE's" are doing that here on FR. Most Americans don't consider the social issues listed as important to a presidential candidate, so the WE's that are here have a job ahead of them.

Count me as among the few, then.

You are so counted. The rest of us are able to set our own political and social agendas just fine.

Good morning.
"This is a bald headed guy who speaks with a lisp"

So, should we be basing our opinion on whether or not our candidate is a silver tongued devil with a great head of hair?

Not that I disagree with you about Giuliani, understand.

Of all the candidates--of all the candidates who can win--no one will be tougher on the terrorists than Rudy Giuliani. And that is the crucial... the seminal... perhaps the only... criterion that will matter in the end....

Hopefully, a conservative hero, who is sleeping under a mountain, will arise to save us all. If not, then I will vote for any Republican

This waiting for Barbarossa thing that goes on around here is too 19th century Romantic for my taste.

You are entitled to your opinion.

I totally disagree with you. I feel he has limited abilities and no serious experience in foreign policy at a time when it is critical to have someone with that kind of experience in office. He also has a problem acknowledging his personal mistakes, is a philosophical Democrat, and has a bad temper. His antics in the Marilyn Monroe costume demonstrated a serious lack of personal judgment in an individual with higher political aspirations.

By your definition, the head of AT & T would make a great President.
