"Therefore, we wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security. We support our military, our troops and our Commander-in-Chief and we oppose turning control of our government back over to the liberals and socialists who favor appeasement, weakness, and subserviency. We do not believe in surrendering to the terrorists as France, Germany, Russia and Spain have done and as Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton and the Democrats, et al, are proposing.
As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty. "

"Free Republic helped me make up my mind,I was leaning towards Rudy, but the negative comments against Rudy upset me and made my decision easier, kind of like when liberals would make fun of Bush, I would get mad, I feel the same way about Rudy."
Do you realize how lame that is? I guess not.

I'm not voting for hillary. heck NO! A vote for Rudy in the primaries is a vote for Hillary in the general.
Dispute that.

his "POLITICAL CROSSDRESSING" as a Republican
I agree! I'm watching.....drum roll....ridicule...praying....for good old Tommy Thompson. I would vote for him. Why not? He knows how the political game is played while getting things done. And he can even work with the demoncrates without them even knowing what hit them. He's a pro-life Catholic. And over the last 15, 20 years he's cleaned up his life. At least to the point where I haven't heard anything negative about him for some years. While he is not my most favorite republican he beats what is out there right now.

Fred brings a slight rightward shift and an attractive high profile / gravitas. Interesting.Yeah. Another celebrity Conservative. Great voice. Plenty people know him because they've seen him on TV or heard him fill in for Paul Harvey. Did a decent run in the Senate. Pleasant and likeable personality. Now...I need to investigate further because I want to know exactly what his stance is on a few things that are very important to Americans. One of them is border security.

I like Tommy. I'm from Sheboygan originally. But Tommy looks like he has lice in his hair and he has that heavy Wisconsin accent. He isn't exactly a leading man.

some of us are obviously no longer welcome. My goodness. Until the man from Fresno or his deputies come after you, screw the rest of 'em. You gotta have a tough hide sometimes. Whether you are "welcome" or not is irrelevant. We are all guests here in Jim's house. If we don't like it, the exits are clearly marked.
No one else can run anyone off unless we allow them to.

Did it ever occur to you, that the "negative" comments might be true? With the Rudyites it's all about feelings, principled reasoning has nothing to do with it.

Supporting Duncan or somebody like him in the primaries certainly is more in keeping with the conservative ethos.
Reading back over the original post, Giuliani "fits" the entire first paragraph, as well as the pro-capitalism, low taxes ending of the second paragraph.
Admittedly, he goes sideways on the bits in between, though.

ROFLMAO
These old beady eyed hard nosed narrow minded so called self described conservatives think they are having a field day with you.
Hang in there as the truth be known most voted for that third party egotistical Napoleonic nut job H. Ross Perot and that in itself speaks volumes about those who want to close off FR to only narrow minded like thinkers.
