"Therefore, we wholeheartedly support the Bush Doctrine of pre-emptive strikes on known terrorist states and organizations that are believed to present a clear threat to our freedom or national security. We support our military, our troops and our Commander-in-Chief and we oppose turning control of our government back over to the liberals and socialists who favor appeasement, weakness, and subserviency. We do not believe in surrendering to the terrorists as France, Germany, Russia and Spain have done and as Kerry, Kennedy, Clinton and the Democrats, et al, are proposing.
As a conservative site, Free Republic is pro-God, pro-life, pro-family, pro-Constitution, pro-Bill of Rights, pro-gun, pro-limited government, pro-private property rights, pro-limited taxes, pro-capitalism, pro-national defense, pro-freedom, and-pro America. We oppose all forms of liberalism, socialism, fascism, pacifism, totalitarianism, anarchism, government enforced atheism, abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, racism, wacko environmentalism, judicial activism, etc. We also oppose the United Nations or any other world government body that may attempt to impose its will or rule over our sovereign nation and sovereign people. We believe in defending our borders, our constitution and our national sovereignty. "

...some of us are obviously no longer welcome. If the dabate on these threads upsets you, take a break for awhile and avoid them.
It's not that you're not wanted, but religion and politics debates can become heated.
Don't take it personal. If itdoes becomeapersonal attack, hit the abuse button and report your concern to the mods.

Of course, you are welcome. But no one here has a right to dominate the board and insult people. Not saying you are, but here's the problem.
Today, on some of the threads, Giuilani supporters have inferred accusations of bigotry and closet homosexuality against the people they disagree with. They can dish it out very easily, and then play the victim when they are called on it. They have trashed the memory of Ronald Reagan and questioned our loyalty to the GOP, while accusing us of wanting our way all the time and wanting to impose everything from Christian jihad to litmus tests on them and their candidates.
I've had it with them. And I'm going to fight back, hard. They can insult me, write their cowardly back channel hate mails, or whatever. I've been here a long time. I can take it.
I hope you can. And I hope you will stay. I have yet to read anything inflammatory in your posts. So just get in and start splashing. Remember, bottom line. You're a screename stating your opinion. That's all it is. No more. No less. My best.

I think Giuliani fits in here somewhere.
I hate it when men dress up as women or vice versa. If you are not a Bible believing Christian I think a lot of people just think it is funny to dress up like the opposite sex in a skit or play. Look at how many years Hollywood has been doing it. As far back as vaudeville. Lucy dressed up as a man any number of times. Fred as a woman. Many many comedy shows over the years have done the same thing. Actually the non Christian world thinks Christians are really weird and without humor and can't have any fun. While I in no way condone what he did I don't believe for one moment Giuliani has made any profession of Christian faith. So...he is what he is. We need a much better candidate for President. Hopefully someone with Judeo-Christian values that are truly held.

You just decided to support Rudy because Free Republic is (for the most part) opposed to him? That's how you make your decisions? Hmm... NO, LOTS of people here support him, and I'm on a ((((PING)))) list too.
To: Barrett 50BMG
when was the last time hillary cut any taxes? Rudy's tax cuts in NYC was like a virgin experiencing sex for the very first time.
Since he's untrustworthy on the other issues, I fail to see where he's going to reduce or reform the tax system even more as President.
To: Barrett 50BMG; Enosh
I just fully made up my mind today to support Rudy, because of this website, I'm tired of seeing all the negativity towards him. I don't think he deserves it. So, your support for a pro-abortion, pro-homosexual marriage, pro-embryonic stem cell research gun grabber is solely based on FEELINGS and not principles?

I don't have anywhere NEAR the problem with his sexual 'cross dressing',,,,

" that would concern me more for someone running for the House or Senate not for the President."
You do realize, of course, that it's the President that signs those bills that the House and Senate passes, and makes it law?
Do you really think if a Democrat controlled Congress passes a gun ban, like, say and 'Assault Weapons Ban' that Rudy wouldn't sign it?

Of course he doesn't "deserve" it. Nobody does.
But running for President has become a nasty business indeed.
Hillary thanks you for your vote.

Make up your mind. Did you decide to support him because of FR or not? I'll get you a couple days to figure that out. That's how long it took you to figure out who to support after you wandered over to FR.
