Ann Coulter calls John Edwards "Faggot"

Best-selling right-wing author Ann Coulter, speaking to a conservative audience in Washington Friday, called former Sen. John Edwards, D-N.C., a "faggot."

Coulter was a featured speaker at the 34th annual Conservative Political Action Conference. Following her prepared remarks, televised on C-Span, Coulter was asked to talk about Edwards.

"It turns out you have to go into rehab if you use the word 'faggot,' so I'm kind of at an impasse -- I can't really talk about Edwards," she said.

Ann Coulter uses the weapons at hand, the weapons used against Conservatives by a 'Satanic' Liberal opposition. There is no dishonor in using the weapons of war, when the war is a battle to the death. Coulter shows more cojones than many so-called "conservatives". Blasting Coulter for fighting the fight is akin, IMHO, of channeling Nelson Rockefeller.

Can we get real here? They put up a rapist for President, and the nation went for it. Al Gore is selling global warming snake oil while paying himself for carbon indulgences and pardon, and DUmmies profess their love for him. Jean Francois Kerry takes a film-crew with him to glamorize his own personal heroism while betraying the rest of our troops in Viet Nam and then uses a Senate hearing to make an opposing political operative squirm, and the Dims think he's the bomb. And while they worship and adore these poor disordered personalities, they are calling US not only stupid and thoughtless but evil and racist.

It matters not the implied insult -- it's the insult that counts. And thank goodness she's not the only one.

After witnessing decades of invective from the left, starting in the 1950s, I am ecstatic that the groveling is ending and the leftists bastards' billingsgate is being returned. No more diversion from the substantive matter to defend yourself against bogus charges -- as the left moves on to another "issue" and more screams of "Racist!" "Bigot!" "Nazi!"

Here's perhaps the best example I personally remember, McCarthyism. An invention of the CP/USA the term came to mean something like "The use of unfair investigatory or accusatory methods in order to suppress opposition."

Recent years have revealed that McCarthy -- though not telegenic or charismatic -- was mostly right.

The substantive matter of national security was lost as people diverted to defend themselves against charges of "McCarthyism" -- we needed a Coulter screaming back, "Commie!" "Com-symp" "Pinko!" until all liberals came to their senses and we focused on national security.

You are wrong! Ann is not one of the big guns in the Republican party, let alone president, in case you haven't noticed. Someone needs to counter-attack against the non-stop ad hominem attacks on President Bush by the lefties/Democrats ever since the Supreme Court prevented the raging idiot, Al Gore, from stealing the 2000 election. Nearly all of the Democrat big guns--Hitlary, Algore, sKerry, the Breck Girl, Cue Ball, Dean, Fat Ted Kennedy, Begala, Jimma Carter, Billy Jeff--have made hateful comments about President Bush, impugning his character, honesty and motives.

If no one responds to these scurrilous comments, the American people will believe that they are true.

She really hurts the conservative cause. She seems to say one thing so outrageous that it "sucks the oxygen out of" all the positive things that other conservatives are saying. We cannot expect to get a pass by the 'rat loving media and she knows it.

Her demeanor when being questioned by college students, mostly boys, was so adolescent...all that hair tossing. I wish she would grow up.
