It matters not the implied insult -- it's the insult that counts. And thank goodness she's not the only one.

After witnessing decades of invective from the left, starting in the 1950s, I am ecstatic that the groveling is ending and the leftists bastards' billingsgate is being returned. No more diversion from the substantive matter to defend yourself against bogus charges -- as the left moves on to another "issue" and more screams of "Racist!" "Bigot!" "Nazi!"

Here's perhaps the best example I personally remember, McCarthyism. An invention of the CP/USA the term came to mean something like "The use of unfair investigatory or accusatory methods in order to suppress opposition."

Recent years have revealed that McCarthy -- though not telegenic or charismatic -- was mostly right.

The substantive matter of national security was lost as people diverted to defend themselves against charges of "McCarthyism" -- we needed a Coulter screaming back, "Commie!" "Com-symp" "Pinko!" until all liberals came to their senses and we focused on national security.
