I saw that, and Hunter is the man! Do you know when he was to speak at CPAC? Don't see him listed on the C-SPAN schedule which has coverage beginning at 10:00 this morning.

Wow! For a relative unknown like Hunter to dust two of the three media-declared front-runners and come within a whisker of the guy the polls (and poll worshipers) tell us it a "lock" is simply stunning.

Go Duncan!

How is Onyx tied to that story? I see you posted a comment of hers from 2/11, but I'm not sure what you were driving at with it.

Do you have any figures to flesh out that comment on spending?

Hunter's trade positions really worry me.

It's curious that there is no one candidate who echoes the normal Republican Party positions (fiscal conservative, social conservative, free trade).

Really, Rudy's positions seem as close to the conservative mean as anybody else, particularly considering the importance of fiscal conservatism when referring to the Federal government.

Maybe when Clinton did NAFTA we all flip-flopped :-(.

He's a protectionist.

See:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duncan_Hunter

On the issue of trade, Hunter has repeatedly voted against international trade agreements such as NAFTA, CAFTA and the WTO.[14] Hunter contends that free trade policies directly impact America's manufacturing base and contribute to the country's burgeoning trade deficit. Hunter cites that China has a 17% subsidy for its manufacturers, a 17% tax on U.S. imports, and the Chinese devalue their currency at 40 percent making Chinese goods cheaper and leaving U.S. manufacturers at a 74% disadvantage. Many nations have enacted less dramatic, but very significant, unfair taxes and practices that give them a large advantage.[15] Hunter wants fair trade so the U.S. may be on a level playing field, and does not want the fruits of unfair trade practices to be used against the U.S. economically and militarily.[16]

---

I'm very pro free trade.

I think you misunderstood :-(.

Rudy's fiscal record is too well known to require any serious discussion.

What's Duncan Hunter's?

Says the guy who effectively voted for socialist Angelides (D) against Arnold the Republican and is promoting Hillary for President -- while I am the one trying to keep Dems from being elected.

LOL, your identity is revealed! You're Josephine Goebbels!!

Just keep up those outrageous lies and you'll continue to marginalize yourself.

Since some creep called the founder a closet gay and wasn't banned, you probably don't have much to worry about.
