Well, there's part of your problem. Land says no to Rudy and thousands of SBC members will listen to what he says. I gotta work now - but a Google on Richard Land Giuliani works.

To me he is just what he appears to be a little known congressmen who has spent why to much time inside the beltway. He doesn't interest me in the least one way or the other, a big yawn.

Looks pretty accurate to me.

Rudy can't win. As a Native New Yorker, I like Rudy. He was a great mayor for the city. The quality of life along with aesthetic and safety issues were never better than under his stewardship. Unfortunately, New York politics much like New Jersey political machines are inherently tainted. The plain truth is that the only way to get anything done in this area is to get a little bit dirty. Everyone understands this and even have a misplaced sense of humor about this fact. The rabid Neocom media coupled with the Clinton demolition squad will provide the same fate for Giuliani which they prepared for poor Bernie Kerik when he was nominated as Secretary of Homeland Security by the President. The only difference will be that the Neocoms will wait until it looks as if Rudy might actually get elected President before pulling out the dirty laundry.(and I'm not talking about divorce here!)This strategy will most certainly hand the '08 Presidential election over to the Democrats. I for one love Rudy, unfortunately I can't support him, we need to win '08.

"That speaks LOUD about Rudy's liberalism."

Damn straight! Nothing against Rudy here, but it's Rudy, Rudy, Rudy from Fox and the MSM.

You only here about Hunter in off handed remarks and look how well he did! I think this bodes very well for him.

nopardons post #681: BTW, do you know that Hunter has the same position on partial birth abortion that Rudy has?

Are you aware of the fact that Hunter wants to outlaw birth control pills and claims that any woman who takes them is having an abortion with each pill she takes?

nopardons post #677: I can ping you the post on the thread and YOU can go read it on Hunter's website, from whence it comes.

You've been repeatedly asked to source your wild-eyed claims that you've posted on several threads now, and since all you can do is point to other threads which DON'T back you up, here are the facts from Hunter's website, where you also claimed this came from.

Abortion/Life

1. Right to Life Amendment:

I would amend the U.S. Constitution and provide blanket protection to all unborn children from the moment of conception by prohibiting any state or federal law that denies the personhood of the unborn. Likewise, I have also introduced the Right to Life Act, which would legally define “personhood” as the moment of conception and, therefore, guarantee all constitutional rights and protections, including life, to the unborn without utilizing a constitutional amendment.

2. Federal laws relating to abortion and human life protections (e.g, embryonic research and end of life, etc.):

There are several areas of federal law that require human life protections. I have cosponsored the following pieces of legislation:

I have also supported human life protection efforts with the following votes:

There is one key difference.

Hunter has always been anti-abortion.

Rudy supported Clinton's veto of a PBA ban that had provisions for the life of the mother.

So once again, what are we supposed to believe? What a candidate has done when he didn't need our votes? Or what he says now that he wants our votes?

That should be blindingly obvious to anyone except those blinded by a cult of personality.

Oh, I don't think a compliment now and again will sully my pissantiness any time soon. LOL

I've known quite a few of the Rudy fans for some time, and have no intention of making any of them my enemies. This is what the primary season's all about. Pick your man and fight for him.

I like Hunter/Giuliani better, but that won't happen either since they are complete opposites! Go Hunter!
