I saw this movie last night for the first time. I was frankly shocked by what I saw; no wonder I fear an unbridled government.
The big question in my mind is, why was it necessary to burn all of them alive? Just what did they have that made the govt/Klintoons want to murder American men women and children?
It runs on the Documentary Channel fairly often.
I've seen it twice. Everyone should watch this film... especially if you think NASI Germany can't happen here.
David Koresh could have been picked in town any ole time but the ATF wanted a big staged event before budget time.
The FLIR video clearly shows machineguns fired into the flaming structure. This film is several years old, no one is going to care as long as there's a six-pack in the fridge and a ball game on.
I have a copy of the FLIR video and the assertion that the flashes seen were caused by the sun glinting off shiny objects on the ground have no basis in logic and reason. Those flashes were rhythmic and were obviously rounds being fired at the Davidians in an effort to keep them in the burning building. If some do-gooder wants to accuse people of harassment and murder, shift your focus from Abu Grabe and Club Gitmo onto the Waco debacle.
There are people who should have, and were not, charged and those should not have included the Davidians. In my never to be humble opinion, they were the victims of a horrible crime and not the perpetrators.
I wonder if it's possible to download it as an MP4 file.
Rumor or Truth? Hillary ordered the burning of the compound to put an end to the standoff and Vince Foster was so sickened by it that he was going to resign his position. Vince's mistake was verbalizing his intent of not hiding the truth about the Waco massacre.

The clintons reached for "right wing Christian militias" just about every time something went wrong, if not a militia then a "right wing anti-abortion fanatic". Branch Davidians could be posed as both.
The government (I don't even assign this to an administration - just "the government") wanted to see if the public would accept such force against a "domestic threat". Obviously, the public did accept it. Note that they'd got by with Ruby Ridge before, but that was merely an ambush.
(The blinding failure to provide any proof of the many bizarre charges - including the hundreds of automatic rifles - also shows me that the public is capable of accepting any comforting rationalization for government force.)
Clinton needed a diversion weekly for most of his term, this covered several weeks.
Presumably, a few ex-body guards needed special handling but I'm not convinced of that one.
Although I personally think that Elian Gonzalez' return to Cuba was the correct move (not the method but the return itself), that also indicates that the clintons never shied away from using force; it was not out of character.
In part because I think Iraq was intended as a message to the rest of the middle-east - I also wonder who else the administration wanted to show that they were willing to take extreme action to put down those who displeased them?
(Sorry that took so much space, be thankful I didn't stretch it to include FRY/Kosovo)
What happened? The federal government murdered an entire compound without trial, jury or due process over a possible 200 dollar violation of tax laws.
