A PRAYER OF PROTECTION
The light of God surround you The love of God enfold you The power of God protect you The presence of God watch over you Wherever you are, God is, And all is well. Amen.
BLESS THIS HOUSE Bless this house O Lord we pray; Make it safe by night and day;
Bless these walls so firm and stout, Keeping want and trouble out:
Bless the roof and chimneys tall, Let thy peace lie over all;
Bless this door, that it may prove ever open to joy and love.
Bless these windows shining bright, Letting in God's heav'nly light;
Bless the hearth a'blazing there, with smoke ascending like a prayer;
Bless the folk who dwell within, keep them pure and free from sin;
Bless us all that we may be Fit O Lord to dwell with thee;
Bless us all that one day we May dwell O Lord with thee.

I have to comment on the muscle cars. The convertible Baracuda was nice, but the rest of the Dodge cars were just down right ugly and that's why they are rare. There were just a lot of better looking fast cars on the market, maybe not as fast as these muscle cars, but a lot better looking. What about the 442? That was a cool car, or the Shelby Mustang?

One car missing from the list, and one of the most unique muscle cars around, the 1969 American Motors SC/rambler. They stuffed a 390 cubic inch 315 hp motor into a small Rambler with a Hurst 4-speed. It was a great muscle car, and very inexpensive for the performance. Here's a story on it:

I don't know if a 1963 Studebaker Avanti qualifies as a muscle car or not, but I do know they had an amazing top end speed. If I'm not mistaken, an Avanti R2 held the top speed record for American production cars for quite some time. They're kinda rare.

Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our
Military, our Allies, and their families. THANK YOU for all you do.
Thank you, Star, for preparing the Canteen for todays activities. How do you like my little muscle car?
DC Metroland weather report ~ Today..... Mostly cloudy. Highs in the mid 40s. Northwest winds around 5 mph. ~ Tonight ........ Mostly cloudy. Lows in the lower 30s. Northwest winds around 5 mph.
WOW! Woke up to another morning above 30 degrees. Today will be warm enough to melt some of the snow we got. Over by our little cottage we got 2-3 inches. My parents, who live over on the south-east side of Maryland, got about 6 inches.
Mr. Beachy was like one happy little boy with the snow yesterday. Well, except he likes to go 4x4 in the snow. So, we went out to visit son and family. Me, I like all that snow as long as I can stay cosy in the house.
Time for me to make my rounds. But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
Now remember, the Canteen is
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's always plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM
FR CANTEEN MISSION STATEMENT Showing support and boosting the morale of our military and our allied military and the family members of the above. Honoring those who have served before.

And, now for a public service announcement
As always, the Canteen is open 24/7/365. We're here to entertain our troops, our allies, and their families. They may be having a rough day and need a break. We try to provide a place where they can come here and relax. Anyone who wishes to do the same is welcome to come in and join us.
