My Email to the Republican National Committee
Me | February 25, 2007 | Calpernia

Posted on 02/25/2007 2:07:14 PM PST by Calpernia

Hello RNC, are you listening?

I just received a call to renew my RNC membership. The solicitor assured me with my questions and concerns that RNC is moving away from supporting Log Cabin Republicans.

I felt relieved, thanked him and authorized him to transfer me to the verifier to make a donation. I tell the verifier, if what was said was true, that the RNC is moving away from supporting the Log Cabin Republicans, he can double my donation amount.

The verifier, gets mad/defensive. Asks me why would the RNC not support Log Cabin Republicans? He says they are part of the GOP and deserve our vote.

I said that was all I needed to hear and ended my the call. That is, without verifying my donation.

I will send the money directly to the Conservative candidates I support. No more RNC.

That means you did NOT understand my post one. It is NOT ok.

Read it again. Log Cabins and Victory Funds both get money from Soros.

Therefore, their politics are the same.

"We should be concentrating on getting each and every Republican elected."

Didn't we do that before? Didn't they let us down again? I agree with you. Huckabee is not bad but I even question how he would be AFTER he received my single, precious vote. I dont' trust any of them anymore. Terrible I know but...they brought it on themselves.

We cannot effectively deal with those "world matters" when our "bedrooms" are polluted with perversion that is government sanctioned.

Huh? So who's to decide what that perverting pollution is? You? Jerry Falwell? And once you start, when do you stop? Is the Govt. supposed to dictate who you sleep with, how often, what position, etc?

The institution of hetereosexual marraige and the children properly produced and raised thereby, is the bedrock of society.

Who consenting adults sleep with and changing the definition of marriage are two different subjects.

Anything else is chaos and damaging to society. This is not something where compromise is acceptable.

There's a lot of "chaos" in the heterosexual world at the moment. Shouldn't we pull the log out of our own eyes before plucking the speck out of others'?

You cannot build on an infirm bedrock.

Let he who is without sin cast the first stone...

"I've always suspected that the callers seeking political donations from an organization as large as the RNC were paid workers and not necessarily committed Republicans."

They are. Generating political contributions is just as much a business as any other.

"Kinda sounds that way, doesn't it. Beggars can't be choosers. For the time being, we are the beggars. Once we get enough control, we can always kick out the politicians who are NOT performing as promised."

I respectfully disagree. Conservatives are not beggars. They're the battered spouses of American politics. Conservatives regularly get abused by the GOP....but you know they'll never leave.

The GOP should launch the Log in Cabin Republicans. Just asking for trouble.

"Socialism and all it entails is evil."

Yup. And I fail to see the meaningful difference between a socialist with a D after their name and a socialist with an R after it.

I sent mine back complaining about the 2 border patrol
agents who got 8-10 years and told the RNC to get back to me in 8-10 years.

That's hyperbole, tkathy.

"Its a formula for being in the political wilderness for a generation."

If the alternative is electing a GOP leadership that essentially embraces socialism, then I don't see why conservatives should care one way or the other. If the GOP loses badly enough, it might even allow for another political party to take it's place as the opposition.

Ahh.. somebody who gets it. But as many of us know, it is useless trying to argue with the Taliban because they DON'T get it. They are God's judge and executioner, freedom be damned.
