EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. - An Air Force officer accused of raping four men and attempting to rape two others told jurors in his court-martial Saturday that he was the victim of "a gay roundup" by military investigators.
Capt. Devery L. Taylor, the former chief of patient administration at Eglin Regional Hospital, said he had consensual sex with five of his alleged victims and that a fifth forced him to have sex.

And these are the people trying to install a bill (This Week) eliminating the "don't ask, don't tell" policy.
More of this will happen if that bill is passed. A male raping another male is even more heinous than female being raped by a male, if that is even possible! Both are scarring for the victim, but IMHO more so for a male.

Women know to be suspicious of the motives of members of the opposite sex.
Men in a combat unit who have to foster suspicions of the motives of those serving, sleeping, and showering with them will not serve as a cohesive unit. It is a breakdown in discipline and the military is all about discipline.

- Supports open acceptance of gays in the military and abolition of "don't ask, don't tell."
...no doubt a pressing concern in preparing the military to effectively prosecute the war on terror.

Who would name their son Air Force? I don't know, but NHRA dragster driver John Force has a daughter Ashley, who is also an accomplished dragster driver.

You are absolutely right, weegee. I couldn't have put it better. I pray that bill, and the hate crimes bill, going before Congress this week, both fail!

"'cuz that wasn't it."
This was a piece of real-life history, which is, or could be, humorous only on occasion. On this occasion it would be not a joke but a proper and well-deserved punishment for the perp.

Captain Devery L. Taylor is being charged with two counts of attempted sodomy, four counts of forcible sodomy and three counts of kidnapping by holding someone against their will.
This stemmed from a complaint filed by a man who claims he and Taylor met at an Okaloosa Island night spot, that Taylor drugged him, then sexually assaulted him at Taylor's apartment.

Capt. Devery L. Taylor, the former chief of patient administration at Eglin Regional Hospital, is accused of drugging and raping the men, four of whom were also servicemembers, after meeting them in area bars. Taylor faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without parole if convicted of all the charges against him. He is charged with two counts of attempted sodomy, four counts of forcible sodomy, three counts of kidnapping and one count of unlawful entry.
A military jury will begin hearing testimony in the case Tuesday.
Prosecutors told Col. Thomas Cumbie, the military judge, that Taylors alleged victims would describe similar encounters in which they met Taylor at bars, had drinks, blacked out for various periods and believed they were drugged.
The victims had experiences similar to use of the date-rape drug gamma-hydroxybutyrate, or GHB, said Maj. Kathleen Reder.
