Levin knows that there are 5,000 al-Qaida in Iraq.
They will set a date for removal of combat troops by March of next year. He doesn't know how many are combat troops, but it's most.
He won't say how many will be left. He wants to leave that to the commanders (right!).
Question McCain NEEDS to answer.
We are currently awaiting a phone call from duty doctor to sort out some medication.

Place marked for later enjoyment.
Timmy is playing McConnell's statement about unringing a bell.
Timmy wants to know why they don't just cut off funding.
Levin: it's wrong. Not going to repeat the mistake of Viet Nam. Also, that resolution would lose and the President would use it as support of his policy and would strengthen him.
The Prez is on a losing course, says Levin. Levin says he's not afraid of it politically. Says the Pubbies are afraid to have a majority of the Senate vote.
He repeats his not a surge but a plunge into Baghdad.
Timmy points out that, if Lieberman crosses the aisle, Levin will lose his chairmanship.
Is it worth risking losing control of the Senate, asks Timmy. Levin says he doesn't expect Joe to switch and does not answer the question.
Great titbit Anita must remember that one.
Levin says that the VP's credibility is low...he said last throws...hyped intel.
LEVIN IS SUCH A CREEP.
This is why senators must not be elected President.
Oooh, the WSJ called Levin a coward. I didn't know that.
Levin says politics has no place in this. HAHAHAHAH.
Thank you, Snugs! And thanks to Rodguy911 for doing the hard selection work, and special thanks to our winners, Ali Veritas, Tx Radio Guy, and Morgan in Denver!!!!
Now that is a worthy bunch :)
Totally agree. Sometimes I think we're living in an alternate universe.
Timmy: what if Iraq becomes a haven for terrorists.
Levin: that is what we have made it. It wasn't before. Just a handful of al-Q there before (he almost said there weren't any).
On to the crappy Walter Reed building and the terrible treatment of our Vets (the MSM only likes them when they are hurt).
Yet another case for term limits.
