the worst of his personal life is having a reputation of being a loud mouthed jerk at work),

They said the same thing about John Bolton. It sounds like a personal problem on the part of some one who got his nose out of joint, didn't like what the boss had to say.

I guess no one saw that Seymour Hersh intvu with Wolfie.

We need to get the transcript of that...because his talking points were so circular, and so "vague", IMHO...that he repeated himself, which leads me to think that he was really having to effort to convince himself, as well as Wolfie about his newest conspiracy theory.

I can't do it justice..that is why I would like to read the transcript...(he was talking about the subject of an article he wrote for The New Yorker).

The condensed version is this:

He says that Pres. Bush has gone covert, with operatives and money that Congress has NO IDEA about...he speculated that the money being used is the missing CASH from Iraq, right after we took Baghdad...

This cash..and these covert agents are in Lebanon...and are working with the USA and AL-QUEDA...to take down Hezbollah..and that there are 2-3 different radical groups that WE are funding and working with to affect that change...in Lebanon...

Because OUR goal is to help create a Shiite Cresent..instead of Iran having a Sunni Cresent...

And...all of this talk about killing al-queda is a front..and they just do it in other countries as a "cover".

Two or three times in the interview (he talked VERY rapidly)..he said "this must be brought to Congress for an investigation and hearings"....

He said that this makes the Iran/Contra scandal seem like child's play...but it is in that vein that Bush is working covertly!!

He mentioned Iran/Contra several times...and having investigations and hearings several times.

However, I think (and this is where the transcript will be handy) he couched a LOT of his charges with that old "secret source" or "rumor has it"...type language..hehehe

Will CNN put up a verbatim transcript. I wasn't paying attention to that conspiracy stuff, but it sounds like ol' Sy needs more tinfoil.

^^^^^^^

How can Sy believe that Bush could pull off what he suggests, while at the same time being so incompetent that Cheney has to pull all the strings?

I think CNN is usually very good about posting transcripts...will have to wait and watch.

I do know the interview was pre-taped...because Hersh was in Egypt...and is ended abruptly.

The administration's current Iran policy is doing to the MSM the same thing it is doing to Iran. The pressure is building to the bursting point, and when it pops, expect Bush to be the last man standing.

Things seem quite similar to maybe 90 or so days before the Iraq invasion, in the way that the MSM is resorting to inventing stories and just plain lying, because they see danger coming to their agenda should Bush pull the trigger.

There is a full on news blackout on the success of the surge, full coordination between the MSM, Dems and foreign news agencies, all towards stopping an Iran ass-whipping before it starts.

On top of all that, Joe Lieberman might have to hire a food taster.

Agreed, and it's going to be a chore for anyone to govern effectively if the congress continues the way it's going.

20 months before the election and I'm reminded again this whole election campaign has become too long. I just cannot fathom more events not happening between now and November 2006 that will affect the election.

LOL...you are very correct about what they are doing...plus, they are accusing BUSH of doing the "inventing stories" to take us into war with Iran.

That would be call projecting, which, along with lying, I believe is okay for dems in the Constitution.

Bwahahahah. I heard some of that. I was look behind Seymour for the man in the white coat that just HAD to be accompanying him.

I think he also said something about Negraponte being too high minded to continue going along with all of this skullduggery and that's why he didn't want to be DNI anymore. He got stung over Nicaragua don'tcha know.

This guy Hersh makes the National Enquirer look reputable! This same clown claimed Bush was going to "Nuke Iran" about a year ago and they STILL treat him like he is a serious credible "Journalist". How absurd!

Yup...which allows Harman to state unequivocally that the surge is NOT working. Only news of attacks is allowed through.

Bashing Dr. Rice to make sure she does NOT run for President.

Same reason there are never ending attacks on Vice President Cheney, they want to keep him in his planned retirement.

THANK YOU.

I knew I couldn't do his interview justice.

I had forgotten about his theory of Negroponte wanting out of the DIA because of this "stealth" operation.

I suppose he would tell us then, that the reason Bush didn't fire him if he didn't approve, and instead give him a new job at the State Dept...is so Negroponte wouldn't "spill the beans"....LOL

There was SO much in that interview..and NOT once did I hear Wolf question the credibility of this far-fetched theory.

I am glad you did hear it...I didn't know whether to laugh or send a quick e-mail to Cornyn telling him to please head off ANY demand by the Dems to hold yet MORE hearings for a kooky reason.
