Yes he is a great manager.
But the lumberjack shirt that he donned for every Homeland Security issue was an assinine stunt.
Griff Jenkins on F & F talking about the NEW show tonight on Fox about the blogosphere..
Griff is so funny!!!
I betcha Tony watches!
Oh..there is a "celebrity blogger" that they can't talk about...do ya think it could be the Snowman??
They all do because no matter how much they direct their anger at Bush, in the end, they have to beat each other up. And that is good for us.
I just can't see her losing this nomination unless the real power brokers in the party come to the conclusion that she can't win.
Right. Talk about priorities. Balkan & Darfur ok for sending troops, but not for Iraq or Iran.
My daughter was at that speech {don't ask why} and said she went prepared to see an exciting figure but she said he was "empty". She was scathing, said all he did was mouth platitudes.
Excellent idea
Kind of sums up their philosophy on just about everything.
The MSM overlooks her impact on the 1994 mid terms.
Spot on,,Hillary was prepped for being annointed and Obama scared her into a premature campaign. She won't last with that. I love it/first time she has really had to face a fight. It is going to be beautiful to watch. But I still don't underestimate her. And Obama, for all his gorgeous voice and demeanor, is weak.
Great post. It 's a shame that everytime they report the death of a soldier, they also repeat the total deaths as mandatory reporting. Worse, they also report Iraqis deaths (who are fighting for their country or killed by the terrorists) as caused by our soldiers.
"Says Romney needs to deal with it head on...like Kennedy."
Sorta like saying "blacks need to deal with it head on...Like George Washington Carver."
LOL. I didn't know about the lumberjack shirt.
So NOT GOOD.
Remember Lamar Alexander? Same dumb stunt.
I am just now getting Levin...and he just won't answer Timmy's questions, as usual.
Oh I would take Mitt over McCain any day. I just don't see either of them carrying the nomination. Mitt has a better information and money machine, but it's going to take a lot of persuasion to win us over.
And if Rudy can overcome his personal baggage (the worst of his personal life is having a reputation of being a loud mouthed jerk at work), he would be hard for either one of them to beat. All three of them have taken unconventional positions relative to what social conservatives see as important.
The question is whether voters can say, well at least (fill in the blank of whichever candidate) is honest about it. Or say, nope, that's not for me.
I will say that if Rudy didn't have the jerk factor as a part of his work life, it would be easier to support him. But being a jackass means that there's going to be a lot of unanticipated backlash when he wants to achieve something. Just because someone is hard nosed about something, doesn't mean he can achieve it by pushing hard (and unwisely).
Because by doing so, he makes himself less persuasive and thus a lesser executive.
Did you hear that several middle and high schools let their kids go to that rally? I'd like to know how many kids who are in middle school now will be eligible to VOTE in 2008?
Personally, I looked at the news coverage and pictures, and there were quite a number of kids there. I did see the usual leftover hippie Austinites also, but that was expected.
Leave it to Democrats to want a war where no American gets killed.
Example: Wesley Clark and the bombing campaign that lasted three months in the Kosovo war.
Sammons, Barone, and Krauthammer.
There have been times though, save, when I have wished the Prez would have been more of an SOB.
