That's a lie. Not on FR. Prove it.

LOL Well, there you go. Another Rudy supporter doing some flaming.

Golly...you are slow!!

I'll repeat...since you obvious post before you read a thread:

I am not supporting anyone right now.

I just want someone with executive experience who has run a state or major municipality.

I want a guy who can appoint a GREAT judiciary and who is strong on national defense.

The Chief Executive cannot control states' rights issues. Getting bogged down in them simply fractures our side.

I don't want someone who has "just" been a Senator or House member.

That said...please convince me otherwise...but don't insult me.

You are lying when you say there are FR "pro-abort" people who are flaming you. Show us examples!!

But I draw the line when folks undertake to try and give our country's leadership to a guy who thinks racist eugenicist Margaret Sanger's "work" is "respectable," who tries to sue gun manufacturers out of business, who defies the law in defense of hundreds of thousands of illegal foreign nationals who have invaded NYC, who has been in bed with the radical gay activists for years, and who will, if nominated, lay waste to the Reagan GOP electoral coalition.

Now, now, Ivan is entitled to his opinion, fair is fair. Even though I have little use for Rudy as a candidate and a low opinion of his prospects for POTUS, lively debate keeps this place from becoming the fugue state nuthouse you see on less conservative sites.

This is a forum for conservatives, but I am reminded daily that conservatism appears to be relative within a limited geographical contest, anyway.

I must note that the Right to keep and bear arms in England appears to have been pretty much laid to waste, and may not be an 'issue' there like here. You are free to defend yourself as long as you can use your WWII SAS training and your bare hands.

I have no real knowledge of the abortion issue there, admittedly.

However, it does occur to me that Hillary has been putting herself in a position to 'blue dog' Rudy and run to the right of him on the issues.

If that isn't a wake-up call for Rudy supporters, the nap will continue.

No thanks. I've been noting your balderdash for a few days now and your contribution deserves vomit. One trouble with these emotional issues is that it allows trolls to sneak in as intolerant extremists.

ok, after a quick scan of your recent posts, this is what I came up with. I do admit that your comments are more intellectually honest than many of the other rudy supporters I run into, so allow me to say that I appreciate that. If Hunter supporters are over-the-top jerks then we will have much more trouble winning this election, so feel free to freepmail me your examples and I suppose what I could do is start asking those folks to tone it down if you weren't the one stirring up the pot.

I AM familiar with candidates who are not electable...Duncan Hunter comes to mind....

People like Duncan Hunter will NOT be elected to higher office. They should make themselves useful at other levels.

Doc...you confirm EVERYTHING I think about Hunter supporters!!

Good night!!

It's interesting...none of the Rudy folks are trashing Hunter, other than to say he has no record and no executive experience. He hasn't run a state or a large municipality.

ALL of the Hunter people are nasty.

I dunno. Maybe it's somewhere in the freeper lexicon. I haven't checked in a long time. I think it's good practice to err on the side of including the other freeper I suppose.

We don't have to accept liberal Rudy. There are other options. This fellow may be the best one:

Bingo. She'll even be able to out "family values" him.

... Lately, things are awfully acerbic. ...

I'm afraid I'm guilty of being 'awfully' acerbic. It is in direct retaliation for the abuses you, and others, have noticed. It is my opinion that the caricatures are demonrat plants, fifth columnists, imbedded within our ranks to stir trouble and keep us at each others throats. There is one way to combat this, and that is be respectful of the supporters of our loyal opposition in the primary season. Disrespect returns disrespect and disrespect breeds contempt.

Go Duncan Hunter!

It would be even nicer if Cheney resigned and Bush let Hunter in as VP.
