You aren't going to be able to find an 100% Conservative, acceptable to not only everyone here on FR, but appealing to the majority of the American populace
Agreed about the 100% part. However there is no need--and no possibility--of finding someone acceptable here to *everyone* here on FR--we have the entire political spectrum here, some overtly and others by stealth and with mutually exclusive objectives. That is NOT a reference to you, only an observation of fact.
That said, educating people and spreading the truth about every aspect of true Conservatism -- Constitutional Originalism -- for now is is Job Number One. Lather, rinse and repeat. Lather, rinse and repeat.

I guess the Assault Weapons Ban of 1994 was passed without Clinton's signature. The ban expired on September 13, 2004, as part of the law's sunset provision.

Interesting...I never knew Bush wanted to extend the ban.

Quit worrying about the true conservatives backing Rudy in the general. I'm one, and I'd back him to the hilt. Now, I may seem like the exception, but let me tell you, these people who say "I'll never vote for Rudy" now get to watch Hillary campaign for the next 21 months. Trust me, that will concentrate the mind...

The ban expired on September 13, 2004, as part of the law's sunset provision. And exactly what does that have to do with the fact that it would not have become law if Clinton hadn't signed it, thereby negating your claim that the President doesn't have anything to do with the 2nd Amendment?
Interesting...I never knew Bush wanted to extend the ban.
Why are you even raising that point when you said the prez has no impact on the 2nd Amendment?

They are!
I have NOT spammed any thread; neither have I baited anyone.
Nor have I have NOT posted a single vulgarity, obscenity, nor accused anyone of being "a socialist", "a communist", being "off their meds", "drunk", being "over caffinated", not a Conservative, a "traitor", "immoral", nor any of the many, varied, and other things that have been hurled at me. If I had, you would have suspended me; at the least.

So, for me, that leaves Romney and Giuliani. Romney

Once again, please show how Rudy could atract pro-life PA Dems.Realistically, most people don't vote for Pres based on one issue.

Your understanding of the Constitution is off, EV. Joe Brower has it right. All I did was post the words of the document. Argue with the Preamble and the Fifth and the Fourteenth Amendments.

What exactly is "TRUE CONSERVATISM" and who defines it?
And WHAT has THAT to do with the topic of this thread?

Realistically, most people don't vote for Pres based on one issue.I guess you aren't familiar with a lot of pro-life voters.

Regardless of the two, you do more harm than good/
To which cause; liberalism?, socialism?, fascism?, pacifism?, totalitarianism?, anarchism?, government enforced atheism?, abortionism?, feminism?, homosexualism?, racism?, wacko environmentalism?, judicial activism?, which one of your causes?
To: EternalVigilance
You are making my point. Presidents don't control states' rights. It doesn't matter.

I think it would work, sorta, in a converse sense. Giuliani could be Hunter's wingman. He could have 8 years to re-evaluate his positions on some important socon issues.

I guess he didn't embarass you then...Thats why I am angry, you caricatures cost us credibility as conservatives. Without credibility, we lose. Dirtboy, I don't think you're a fifth columnist, merely their useful tool.

the fact that Rudy only beats Hillary by 5% is frightening. Hillary should be being beaten by 15-20% at least. but since Kerry got so many votes in '04 my faith in the American people was shattered. lots of things are wrong, very wrong.
