Ah, Gore. Comic relief. Love it. Meanwhile, here in Detroit, our Free Press blew out page 1 yesterday because one dozen people were trained to hit the streets with Al Gore's slide show. Yes -- a
dozen! Double digits, baby. The kind of number that blows you away. /s
Lede: A dozen Michiganders are helping Al Gore carry the message of his movie "Inconvenient Truth," preaching the gospel of global warming with his slides and their words. Main story, 1A. Can't make this stuff up.
The average temp in Detroit this month has been something like 8.

I've seen winters like that.
Buffalo and the blizzard of '77.
Back around '70 or '71, up in New Hampshire.
'Course, back then, complaining wasn't the big thing (oh, I mean if you had to shovel, yeah, you complained). People just handled it and did the things they had to do.
