I don't even have a good little cutout of Piper!
The moon is gone and there are some strange squiggles in the sky.
I haven't checked but it has to be in the 70's today here. Sunshine and beautiful. Wish you had it too!

...grin... I'll STILL congratulate Walter Williams here. It may have been Mencken's 'light', but it was Williams (in Mencken's unfortunate absence) who focused it brightly (as desperately needed) upon that Weather-guesser at TWC.

...grin... You already saw these, I suppose...?
"Human activites contribute slightly to greenhouse gas concentrations through farming, manufacturing, power generation, and transportation. However, these emissions are so dwarfed in comparison to emissions from natural sources we can do nothing about, that even the most costly efforts to limit human emissions would have a very small-- perhaps undetectable-- effect on global climate."

"I believe the very heart and soul of conservatism is libertarianism.
...The basis of conservatism is a desire for less government interference,
less centralized authority, more individual freedom, and this is a pretty
general description also of what libertarianism is." --Ronald Reagan

RE: "And if people were as capable as some of us who can remember yesterday, they wouldn't fall for it." Sigh... Lots hereabouts think algore is past due for beautification. Not sure if that is going to change any time soon.

RE: "W. Williams is one of my favorite writers. but so is Mencken" The bitter irony is, of course, that folks with Libertarian leanings cannot, in good faith, argue for 'required readings'...

Around these parts, Algore & Kerry appear to be the butts of jokes, but it could be the crowd I'm hanging with.
A lot of the beatification of algore comes from Soros, the media and the rest of their absolutely corrupt pals, all of whom prefer we discuss under tinfoil hats.
