Our troops are going to beat both enemies!
Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighters
The President has clearly identified the need to win in many speeches. The above small excerpt is just a sample of what he said in the SOTU to an audience of what, 40-60-80 million people.
The problem is not with the President. You really need to face that fact.
Thanks for the notes about Chris Matthews' show ...I don't get it here.
In fact, this week I haven't seen ANY of the shows...I had kaybugs for the night..and my TV doesn't leave Nickolodean...LOL
I appreciate everyone's notes.
I am going to watch the Fox Sunday replay tonight..and the Meet the Depressed replay also...
Thanks! (I block most JAVA scripts so I will need to see what I have to do to see this one. I appreciate the link.)
Hold on to this, will come into play later:

Make sure you read on Iran inviting the UN and Human Rights Watch re: docs and weapons proof we are involved in taking out Sunnis in Iran (You heard right). It's in those worrisome links way up thread.
Of course the DBM is biased and supports the Dems. That is an obvious given. Does that mean, ergo, we can't get our message out to the American people? I think we can even if it is difficult at times.
For someone who claims to have lived in D.C. and knows how this stuff works...you sure don't have a clue do you?
Good day sir.
You can continue your Bush bast love in without me.
Tiki? Un effing believable. Don't mind the screams... it's just my youngster crying since I threw her Tiki figures on the grill. Move along...
Try listening to talk radio sometime.
So why didn't he repeat that kind of response at the latest press conference? He had the perfect openning to do so.
Thank you ...his steadfastness and good will in the face of so may evils and detractors .. even on his own side .. are incredible. When he speaks, he does so respecting the office he holds (including Commander in Chief).
That he's able to carry on and endure so many stabs in the heart, even from his own side .. is a testament to his walk in faith, that he has a clear vision of his mission, no psychoneurosis, and an incredible marriage .. all of which sustain him in the face of such bitter and vicious rebukes, thank God. And a lot of us are praying for him.
Imagine Clinton, Kerry, McCain in this office now .. anyone of lesser character, emotional stability, solid personal situation, fortitude and consistency, who was vain, being so viciously attacked constantly, from all quarters. Can you envision any of them having the strength and internal constitution to put one foot in front of other every day .. with firm and unpartisan sights on his job and good will in his heart? God help us.
Most important: WE ARE AT WAR .. anyone whose words and
actions give aid and comfort to our enemies, and demoralize our efforts and our troops has a special place in Hell reserved for them, IMO.
Folks here should remember that this site is actively watched, comments are reposted in cyberspace, and that this is NOT DU.
You seem to respond with ad hominen attacks rather than debate the substance of the issues. Good day.
Even worse was his description of Bryant Gumball as his all time hero!! Wow, I used to really like the guy a well,(Tiki)no more.
I'm betting Tiki's jump to NBC was a straight money decision. NBC probably offered him a lot more than Fox was willing to, and they do have a larger audience and bigger sponsors that Fox which gives him more and more lucrative outside possibilities.
And Bryant is a great role model. After all, look how many millions Bryant raked in and for how long with absolutely no talent whatsoever.
Yes. The political climate is much different, now, than it was in the 50's.
If he does run, it will be interesting to see where his funding is coming from.
I do.
Quite the contrary...I debated where you are rong in your assertions and the best you could come up with was the shiney new words you jsut learned on your "New-Word-A-Day" desk calendar.
When I factually point out what the role of the Congressmen/women should be when it comes to the president of their same party and getting out his message out and the BEST you can come back with is "strawman" and "redherring" without anything to back up your BS...it's pretty clear which one wants to engage in ad-hominem attacks.
Pot meet kettle.
You prepare for defeat, i'm practicing my remaining second amendment rights. Make no mistake, this will go house to house, street to street.
That's not all, how many troops do you think will re-up after this is over? Ergo... draft. Rangel will rejoice, then he can complain about the great unwashed being 'forced' and create more victims for the party. I wonder how worried they'll be about levels of training and equipment then... after they plan to cut the present troops funds? Congrats to the kooky anti-war groups and Starbucks crowd... you'll soon be serving your country (with the exception of powerful dems children of course).
BTW, I left during the Clinton Administration. The good old days when reservists didn't have bullets for the range.
