Quote of the Day-----John Murtha (It's a doozy)

Posted on 02/16/2007 1:52:54 PM PST by Dog

'They won't be able to continue. They won't be able to do the deployment. They won't have the equipment, they don't have the training and they won't be able to do the work. There’s no question in my mind.”

– John Murtha

I agree and would add the apathy of the American people- most of whom won't take the time to seek out the facts in the news. Unfortunately, the 5 minute lies told by the MSM stick.
The other point is that during past wars - there was a spiritual support army in our nation. I believe our churches have become as wimpy as most republicans- they no longer pray for our nation and troops which should be done weekly from the pulpit. And when was the last time you heard a sermon on the moral decline in our nation?

WHY? Polite, like appeasement to terrorists, does not register with these LIBERALs.

Yeah...I told my turncoat Congress critter John Duncan that people like him made me rethink my opinions about war. I'm not anti-war but there's no rational reason to put our brave men and women in harm's way so long as there are p*$$ies here at home stabbing them in back.

BTW...I'd love to redeploy Congress to Baghdad. Let them hold sessions in Saddam's old palace with the troops sitting in the audience.

"That's his plan to take away the funds so they cannot be available. Then it will be Bush's fault the Troops don't have the equipment to save their lives."

The non-binding Surrender is an invitation to KILL the members of MY FAMILY doing thier part to keep us safe...

The more they kill, the more Democrats can whine, and thier allies in the MSM will help them every step of the way.

Meanwhile, the vast majority of sheeple get thier news in the 30 second brief before "American Idol", and could care less what happens as long as thier street is plowed...

Ordinarily he was insane, but he had lucid moments when he was merely stupid.

The Victory Caucus
Townhall ^ | 1/16/07 | Hugh Hewitt

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1786525/posts

MoveOn.org grew out of the impeachment crisis, as lefty Democrats grew disgusted with Republicans and with what they considered to be round-heeled Democrats.

Today The Victory Caucus is seeing tremendous traffic for a site that is five days old, and an impressive commitment of resources from virtual volunteers around the country. Before long the Caucus will be identifying the congressional districts which have twice voted for George W. Bush but which are represented by Democrats. It already has a list of the 17 white flag Republicans up. I expect a great deal of effort to go into the identification of candidates for these 68 districts, candidates committed to supporting victory in the war.

Leadership isn't going to come from the Hill which didn't even whip today's vote. And time-serving backbenchers like Lawnboy Ric Keller aren't going to get a pass. Their colleagues in the House GOP should refuse to shield them from the political fallout. Today was a significant day for seriousness on the war, and the clarity the vote provided is very useful indeed.

The effort to recruit, support, and elect victory Congressmen is going to require a great deal of effort, and NZ Bear has set up easy to understand ways to get involved. The first set of tools are there, and the Victory Caucus is not going to pursue any other agenda except victory in the war. If that matters to you, get involved and tell your friends about it.

"Words fail me."

Below are some words (and pictures) that fit:

"Marvel at the spectacle of how the Left replaces thought with disdain in order to allow the mediocre mind to effortlessly imagine that it is morally and intellectually superior." ~ Robert Godwin - Monday, 12/18/2006

John "Arab Bribes" Murtha and Nancy "San Francisco Values" Pelosi perfectly reflect the base of todays RAT party.

Every so often, a public figure will speak a sentence that succinctly sums up his or her entire worldview in just a few words, exposing the core belief that is the wellspring of his or her every position on matters of consequence. Consider, for instance, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi’s recent assertion: "If we [the U.S. military] leave Iraq, then the insurgents will leave Iraq, the terrorists will leave Iraq."

That sentence tells us virtually everything we really need to know about the workings of Nancy Pelosi’s mind.

"Please, lets not demean Pigs and Jackasses, they are honorable Creations of GOD! Murtha is worse than a pile of garbage or a POS. It(Murtha) is a lieing Traitor and is aiding and abetting the Enemy and endangering and assisting in the murder of Our Wonderful Military members, and endangering Our families and Our Loved Ones at home and this Great Country of Ours. There truly are no words capable of describing this low life pile of scum."

There are criminal mentalities in both the Republican and the DemocRAT party. Only members of the 'RAT Party (including professing "Christians") will knowingly and deliberately vote for such dregs of society. bttt
