'They won't be able to continue. They won't be able to do the deployment. They won't have the equipment, they don't have the training and they won't be able to do the work. Theres no question in my mind.
John Murtha
Elections have consequences.
They obviously do. At least the majority of "us".
I think it accurate to say that he "schleps in congress".
If this kind thing continues you can expect death squads, revolution, ect. When the left continues to tear at the fabric of society, and congressmen call for defunding our troops in wartime, sooner or later the american people will reach the breaking point

Is this what the Democrat Party means when they say that they support the troops?
My theory is that with the fall and disgrace of Communism - aka the Soviet Union and other regions - the left graps at anything, even Islam, that can bring our Judaeo-Christian republic to its knees.
This struggle is as much a struggle against Islam as it is against secular humanism...an ideology that finds Christianity hateful.
I for one plan to piss on his grave if I get the chance.
That wasn't what I saw, Mad Tom, but now that you mention it, he does "schlep"... for al-Qaeda, Soros, ANSWER, et al...
We're past the breaking point... just figuring out the "how" at this point...
March 17th is a start.
MURTHA THE TRAITOR!!!!!
What a despicable worm.
I just saw a segment on Fox News with Geraldo...who is in Iraq..in Bahgdad, I believe.
He interviewed one soldier...and the soldier said that up until the Congress turned dem, they really didn't pay much attention to the political rhetoric in the US...
But, he said as soon as Congress became Democratic they KNEW they would have the backing for what they are doing..and he wishes they would "walk in my boots for a while...and see what we are doing here...and also what would happen to this country if we were to leave"
Geraldo asked him if has hurt their "morale"...this vote. And he said they were irritated by it...and worry what else will happen.
The US Congress has sent a message to our men and women serving in Iraq: You are worthless, your lives are worthless, your families are worthless, we want more power!
Paul Harvey NO MORE. His program is 90% adds anyway. I will boycot his sponsers and let them know why...
Their plan was simple: Hobble the administration during year one by delaying cabinet and other appointments, obstruct all legislation by changing Senate operating rules, hammer away through the MSM for the next two years, and then defeat him when he ran for reelection....But then came 9-11...and the obstructors had to swim to the bottom of the political ocean and weather the patriotic storm which ensued.
After enough time had passed, the anti-american Democrat sharks swam back to the surface and began hunting anew. Only the extended duration of the Iraqi "war", coupled with endless bashing by the MSM, eventually saved the day for the otherwise useless democrats. And then November 2006 happened, and so here we are.
Of course, 9-11 and Iraq notwithstanding, one has to ignore an awful lot (economic news, etc.) in order to convince the public to agree with such an approval trend. But then, the democrats and MSM are masters at lying to the American public.
He's a crook, a liar, a fool, a subverter, and an asshole. Who cares if he was a Marine?
Unfortunately, we live in a post-treason era.
I usually don't even pay attention to him...just have him on waiting for Rush...but when I heard him say Murtha's name, my ears perked up...
I have noticed that Harvey has always sounded disapproving of the war when he would mention it...but, today was awful.
Interesting theory. Putting up with the terrorism that no one else will maybe? I try to cut people as much slack as I can, within reason...
Sounds like this strategy wins elections for some Quisling Democrats, no? [Forget the appeasement, it's far beyond appeasement for some of the Dems, based upon their words and some of their highly ill-advised policy positions].
Strangely, re-review many of the AQ and other opfor statements [when you get a spare min.] over the last few years, and you will see them mirror and use some of the same language as some Dems in some cases, which is totally insane. Also, remember the AQ commentary in our last Pr. election? Eeerily, they were mirroring Kerry's and other's arguments and providing their own strange version of electoral commentary. This bizarre phenomenon is nuttier than a squirrel's pantry.
