Here's what a 25-40 mi/h wind can do with the same amount of snow as in post #76.

"The screening of al gore's global warming documentary 'inconvienent truth' has been cancelled at Maryville University in the St. Louis area because of snow"

Cancelled due to an inconvenient fact.

It's great to see old Joe again. Last time I saw him was on the cover of the menu at his diner in Banff-f-f-f, British Columbia.

Amazing.

My pic was taken on a deck, protected by the house and woods.

With a full night of strong wind, the snow is still there.

LOL. We're going out to shovel for a third time this morning.

Let's hear it for global warming.

Yes, it is a nice icy/snow/sleety day here in Wash DC. The government opened "2 hour late with unscheduled leave authorized." Thus I called in that I was taking leave for the day and slept another 4 hours. got up, cleaned of the cars -- about an 1.5 inches of sleet and a coating of ice.

Next comes the porch and sidewalk. and back into the temperature deep freeze again tonight for 2 or 3 days. Congress needs to meet outside so that all of their hot air will warm up the region.

Where's the mainstream media on this fact? Why are they not questioning the very existence of global warming over and over again? Conservatives need to frequently question the mainstream media about their ignorance on the fact that global warming is nothing more than a farce that has been around more than forty years.

Don't have to worry about aunts or the potatoe salad going bad!

Nor the beer getting warm! I hate when that happens.

It would be much more likely that you couldn't find the beer on the table than that it would get warm. ;)

Cool. My table looks just like yours. The seats are buried, though.

I know most people don't like it, but I absolutely love extreme weather..........especially snow.

We're still digging out, and several counties in the area are still under level 3 snow emergencies, but there's something nice about staying home because you're not supposed to go anywhere, and not having any guilt at just relaxing a bit and enjoying looking out the window at the beautiful white stuff. :)
