From FoxNews TODAY.
Paul Gigot transcript:
SIEGEL: Well, it's little known, but when he came into office, one out of every seven New Yorkers, 1.1 million people, were on welfare. Now, this is significant not only because welfare itself was a problem. It's because when he came into office, New York was bankrupt. It was technically bankrupt.
And he pulled New York back from bankruptcy, partly through welfare reform, partly through cuts, partly through some privatizations. And the fiscal accomplishments in his first term were enormous, but not widely known.

And if Rudy gets the nomination, or even elected, do you think he won't be investigated?

"Would it be an unfair attack on me to claim that I'm a racist because of what I did back then?" If you were a public figure and running for President of the United States, it would be fair game. But my question was "What do you consider an unfair attack, as compared to pointing out his record?"

Re: "Freedom is about authority. Freedom is about the willingness of every single human being to cede to lawful authority a great deal of discretion about what you do and how you do it."
Rudy Giuliani
It's a quote from one of his 1994 speaches as Mayor. Google "Freedomis about authority" Rudy Giuliani 1994
"Was it the Village Voice? Was it the NY Times? They both used to like to slime Rudy."
It's a quote that can not be taken out of context. It the meaning of a complete summary about what one thinks about freedom.
"government exists above all to keep people safe in their homes and in the streets"
No it does not. The only justification for govm't is to protect rights. This safety nonsense is simply obfuscation to avoid haveing folks notice their rights are being violated.
"Rudy:Over the last century, millions of people from all over the world have come to New York City. They didnt come here to be taken care of and to be dependent on city government. They came here for the freedom to take care of themselves."
That's a pretty misleading quote, since Rudy thinks govm't is there to not only keep people safe, but "to determine what you do, and how you do it." Dependant simply means the city's not going to pay for the trip, except for hte illegals.

Since you've googled Hunter's name, seen the supposed baggage and made the vague charge, why don't you come right out and say what the baggage is?
I have no idea how to post a 22 page pdf file and even if I did I don't think the amount of bandwidth it would take would be appreciated. Perhaps if you backtracked here a little and read some of nopardons posts it might give you some idea, other than that you'll have to do your own leg work to find out how he's filled his time for the past 27 years, padding his and his buddies pockets, while he's been an elected official. 'Duncan Hunter+corruption' in Google will find you more than you'll ever want to know about him.

The person who posted this to you is completely bonkers, and has been called "Free Republics meanest poster" by MANY people. Tangle with her further at your own peril.
Oh yeah, she's a massive liar, too.

You just made my point. You have made and absolute a$$ of yourself by jumping to the conclusion that I support Rudy. Where did you get that idea? Just because I noted that you should go back and read your own posts because you were making a fool of youself?
Well, since obviously you are reacting like a rabid dog, I'll leave you to chase your own tail and amuse yourself and everyone else that is lurking on this thread.

That's just a lie. Nopardons backs up her posts with evidence.
I see you're out here making scurrilous charges about people which you have no intention of proving.
To: kinoxi

Sorry, but if you are, in fact, going to vote for RINO-rudy, then I believe you are HEAVY on the "meathead", and LIGHT on the "conservative".
yea and our current "conservative" president isnt putting up much of a fight.
who you suggest? mccain? obama?
im voting rudy, the man is a leader he might not have super right wing views but its character im judging him on. i think rudy could do it.

No, nopardons has not backed up anything with me, and got a slapdown from Jim Robinson for her lies the other night.
Sorry, BS, it's true. Check it out for yourself, if you'd like. Cute try, though.
