'The View' Guest Host: 9-11 Conspiracy Theorist 'So Great'

With Barbara Walters away, whom did ABC choose to guest host The View today? A woman who thinks a 9-11 nutcase is "so great." Singing the nutcase's praises in the screencap is Christine Ebersole. I hadn't heard of her, either. She's a Broadway actress. And there she was, guest hosting on this morning's View, when she let this drop:
"I'm going through 'the change' in my life."
That was good for a high-five with Rosie, who said she is, too.
Ebersole explained that one symptom is insomnia, which has turned her into a YouTube addict. Speaking of her YouTube favorites, she continued:
"There's a couple of political ones. The latest one I found, oh my God, I'm so crazy about this guy, it's called 'theresistancemanifesto.com.'"
View video here.
Rosie weighed in helpfully: "Yes, this is the guy, John Conner."
Ebersole: "John Conner. It's so amazing. He's so . . . the thing that is so great about him is, people will look at him and say 'he's a nutcase.' But see, I don't think so. I don't think so. He's a non-conformist."
Rosie agreed: "He's a non-conformist."
And just what kind of non-conformist is he? Rosie explained: "He goes around the country with a bullhorn, to UCLA or wherever he wants, and he says, '9-11 was an inside job! 9-11 was an inside job!' [That's Rosie illustrating his bullhorn act]. And within five or ten minutes, the police show up, and his friends videotape him getting arrested by the police. And boy, does it annoy people. I can tell you that much."
Observed Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the only thing standing between The View and the total leftist abyss, wryly: "That probably would annoy just a handful of people in the United States."

Rosie O'Doublewide has nothing relevant or intelligent to say about anything. I look at her and feel revulsion. UGH!

I made it a point to tune in today to see what they'd say about Anne Nicole. Oddly, at least as of the time I turned the show off to prepare this thread, they hadn't mentioned it. Perhaps the show was taped in advance?

I don't think Rosie was endorsing the 9/11 nut case .. I think it was more like she was trying to stop her guest from embarrassing herself even more

Don't think I said Rosie endorsed Ebersole's opinion, but Rosie did agree that he was a "non-conformist."

Time to post the dialogue from the South Park Episode "Mystery of the Urinal Deuce" if there ever was a time.
Cartman: They aren't going to find out who did it. But they'll make up a scapegoat, send him to detention, and make us all believe it. It'll be 9/11 all over again.
Kyle: Will you shut up about 9/11!
Cartman: Kyle, why are you so afraid of the truth?!
Kyle: Because anybody who thinks 9/11 was a conspiracy is a retard!
Cartman: Oh really? Well did you know that over one-fourth of people in America think that 9/11 was a conspiracy? Are you saying that one-fourth of Americans are retards?
Kyle: Yes. I'm saying one-fourth of Americans are retards.
Stan: Yeah, at least one-fourth.
Kyle: Let's take a test sample: There's four of us, you're a retard, that's one-fourth.
And when they meet with President Bush:
Kyle: I knew it! You didn't plan 9/11 and you really didn't shoot that guy!
Bush: Boys, you don't understand. People need to think we are all-powerful. That we control the world. If they know we weren't in charge of 9/11 then... we appear to control nothing.
Kyle: Well why don't you just tell people the truth?!
Bush: We do that too. And most people believe the truth. But one fourth of the population is retarded. If they wanna believe we control everything with intricate plans, why not let them?

What's so ironic is that there actually is one person in government who has engaged in a documented, verified, unquestioned coverup in relation to 9/11, but none of these geniuses could care less, because that person's name is Sandy Berger so they can't pin it on Bush.

I think ABC gagged her from talking about Smith.
She put up a "poem" on her blog. Seems very regretful that she dumped on the woman a few hours before her death. /sarc off
I guess if Anna Nicole Smith was an American Idol contestant treated badly than it might have generated some sympathy

Actually, it was the decidedly non-annoying Elisabeth Hasselbeck who said that.
