I thought that name looked familiar. Amanda Marcotte, one of the John Edwards staffers who Bill Donohue is calling to be dismissed for making anti-Catholic statements also happens to be a longtime critic of faithmouse. I know of at least two posts she's made regarding my cartoon in the past. Here are both the toons and the posts-

Most Inexplicable Cartoon Of The Hurricane
by Amanda Marcotte (filed under 'Conservatism', 26 comments)
In my own defense of the Hurricane Katrina/ 9-11 cartoon, a few sites did point out that it was art, which I appreciated. Basically the cartoon was about my father, who was a gunner's mate on the U.S.S. Hornet during WWII and was deeply traumatized by his battle experiences in the South Pacific. Here's one of those positive posts, which I located via Wayback-
Inadvertant Masterpiece - Adhalia.net
Everyone's entitled to their opinion, and I have a reputation for never flaming anyone who has criticized my work. I must admit though, it's fun knowing that there's a faithmouse anti-fan on the Edwards staff. Additional posts by Amanda regarding my cartoon would be very much appreciated. Gosh knows I could use the publicity.
By the way, here's my most recent cartoon-

FaithMouse is a brilliant artist whose cartoons are the political equivalent of a Rorschach test.

Does she actually think that a child's brain develops as it exits the birth canal.Apparently, the Liberal fever swamp dwellers seem to think the brain implant is the last thing that happens to a baby as it exits the womb. All the baby movements while in the womb? Must be the equivalent of a twitch, according to the culture of death on the Left.

Any lie or stretch of logic is acceptable as long as it advances the cause of abortion. These people are sick.

I decided to try to read Marcottes comments on the first cartoon, just to give her a fair shake. Now that I have, I'm pretty convinced she is insane.

Excellent detective work.
Amanda Marcotte ia an evil raving radical leftist bigot who was chosen by that fat swine Elizabeth Edwards specifically BECAUSE she is an evil raving radical leftist bigot, to appeal to the Internet MoveOn.org psychopaths.

Not last thing as "it" exits the womb, "it" must be totally out, and even then the mother can choose a different "choice" as to whether or not "it" becomes a "baby."

I went to her website yesterday and came away with pretty much the same conclusion. What causes a young woman to become so gut-wrenchingly vile is beyond me. Brain-washing by the Culture of Death from a very young age is my best guess.

Oh, yes--the hillarious assembly of Edwards fans... I want the bloggers to enjoy a long tenure on his staff.
They typically will nt be able to control themselves and distort, exaggerate issues and people--should be very effective turn-off to enough voters so this trial lawyer is not hired by the American people to screw us...
May they stay! And stay long!
With such hateful and vile people doing some work on his campaign, it'll work out pretty well for the rest of us.

It's saying my cartoon is and I am; sorry if that's confusing. I wanted to let the forum know there's a connection between the blogger story and Free Republic.
I've been posting here for years. Pookie18 posts my toons regularly in his Today's Toons thread. I met Hugh Hewitt at a Peter Beinart debate a few years ago and presented him with a hard copy of one of Pookie's posts. I've also dropped into A Few Of FR's Finest at the invitation of DollyCali to post a toon now and then.

For a Democrat, I can see why they think that. After all, their brains only develop once they pull their heads fully from their arses. But then they wouldn't be Democrats anymore.
